2. India’s Satyarup becomes world’s youngest mountaineer to climb 7 peaks, 7 volcano summits
Indian mountaineer Satyarup Siddhanta became the world’s youngest mountaineer to climb the seven highest peaks and volcanic summits across all continents. He achieved the unique feat at the age of 35 years and 262 days, setting a new world record by beating Australia's Daniel Bull who did it at the age of 36 years and 157 days.

भारत के पर्वतारोही सत्यरूप सिद्धांत दुनिया के अलग-अलग महाद्वीपों की सात पर्वत चोटियों और सात ज्वालामुखी शिखरों को फतह करने वाले दुनिया के सबसे युवा पर्वतारोही बन गए हैं। उन्होंने ये मिशन 35 साल 262 दिन की उम्र में पूरा किया। अब तक ये रिकॉर्ड ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पर्वतारोही डेनियल बुल के नाम था, जिन्होंने 36 साल 157 दिन में मिशन पूरा किया था।
3. GDP growth likely to be tad higher at 7.5 pc in FY20, says India Ratings and Research
According India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra), Indian economy is likely to grow a tad higher at 7.5 per cent in 2019-20 on account of steady improvement in major sectors -- industry and services.

5. Prabhat Singh appointed DG in NHRC
Senior IPS officer Prabhat Singh has been appointed as Director General (Investigation) in the National Human Rights Commission, a Personnel Ministry order issued said.
Singh is at present Special Director, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
एनएचआरसी में डीजी नियुक्त किये गये प्रभात सिंह
वरिष्ठ आईपीएस अधिकारी प्रभात सिंह को राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग में महानिदेशक (जांच) नियुक्त किया गया है। कार्मिक मंत्रालय ने एक आदेश में यह जानकारी दी।
सिंह इस समय केन्द्रीय रिर्जव पुलिस बल (सीआरपीएफ) में विशेष निदेशक के पद पर तैनात हैं।
6. DBT, ICAR sign MoU for cooperation in agricultural biotechnology research and education
The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase emphasis on multi-disciplinary research and development activities and nurturing innovations in agricultural biotechnology research and education.

जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीबीटी) और भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएआर) ने कृषि जैव प्रौद्योगिकी अनुसंधान एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में विविध विषयों पर अनुसंधान एवं विकास संबंधी गतिविधियों पर बल देने के लिए एक सहमति पत्र (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किये।
