1. Playback singer Mohammed Aziz passes away
Singer Mohammed Aziz, who did playback for artistes such as Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda and Rishi Kapoor, passed away . He was 64.
Aziz, who has over 20,000 songs to his credit, has sung in Bollywood, Bengali and Odia film industries. He has recorded several devotional Bhajans and Sufi songs as well.

अमिताभ बच्चन, गोविंदा, मिथुन चक्रवर्ती और ऋषि कपूर सहित विभिन्न कलाकारों के लिए पार्श्वगायन कर चुके गायक मोहम्मद अजीज का निधन हो गया। वह 64 वर्ष के थे।
अजीज ने 20 हजार से ज्यादा गानों को अपनी आवाज दी। उन्होंने हिंदी, बांग्ला, ओडिया फिल्मों में गाने गाए। उन्होंने कई भजन और सूफी गानों को भी अपनी आवाज दी।
2. International Gita Festival to be held from Dec 7-23 in Kurukshetra
The International Gita Festival, 2018, will be organised in Kurukshetra in Haryana from December 7-23, in which Mauritius will be the partner country and Gujarat the partner state.
The Gita festival will also be organised in Mauritius next February, an official spokesperson said.
कुरूक्षेत्र में 7- 23 दिसंबर तक होगा अंतरराष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव
अंतरराष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव, 2018 का आयोजन हरियाणा के कुरूक्षेत्र में सात से 23 दिसंबर तक होगा। इसमें मॉरीशस भागीदार देश और गुजरात भागीदार राज्य होगा।
एक आधिकारिक प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि गीता महोत्सव का आयोजन अगले साल फरवरी में मॉरीशस में भी होगा।
