1. Cabinet approves pact between ICAI and CPA, Canada
The government approved a pact between Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), Canada.
The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister gave ex-post facto approval of the MoU signed in 2011 and approval for signing of MoU between ICAI, India and CPA, Canada, according to an official statement.
आईसीएआई और सीपीए, कनाडा के बीच करार को मंजूरी
सरकार ने भारतीय सनदी लेखा संस्थान (आईसीएआई) तथा चार्टर्ड प्रोफेशनल अकाउंटेंट्स (सीपीए) कनाडा के बीच करार को मंजूरी दे दी।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुई केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक सहमति ज्ञापन (एमओयू) को मंजूरी दी गइ। यह एमओयू 2011 में किया गया था। आधिकारिक बयान के अनुसार मंत्रिमंडल ने आईसीएआई भारत तथा सीपीए कनाडा के बीच एमओयू पर दस्तखत को मंजूरी दे दी।
2. Rekha Sharma appointed chairperson of NCW
NCW member Rekha Sharma has been appointed as the chairperson of the National Commission for Women.
Sharma, 54, was earlier a member of the Commission and was holding the additional charge of chairperson after Lalitha Kumaramangalam demitted office in September last year.
रेखा शर्मा राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग की अध्यक्ष नियुक्त
राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (एनसीडब्ल्यू) की सदस्य रेखा शर्मा को राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है।
शर्मा (54) इससे पहले आयोग की एक सदस्य थीं और वह गत वर्ष सितम्बर में ललिता कुमारमंगलम के पद छोड़ने के बाद से आयोग की अध्यक्ष का अतिरिक्त प्रभार संभाल रही थीं।

NDA candidate and JD(U) member Harivansh Narayan Singh has been elected as deputy chairman of the Rajya Sabha.

सत्तारूढ़ राजग के प्रत्याशी एवं जदयू के राज्यसभा सदस्य हरिवंश को उच्च सदन के उपसभापति पद के लिए निर्वाचित किया गया।
4. Cabinet nod to pacts between India, Indonesia for cooperation in science & tech, health
The Union Cabinet gave its nod to a pact on cooperation between India and Indonesia in scientific and technological sectors and also approved the signing of an MoU between the two countries in health sector.
विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी में सहयोग के लिए भारत-इंडोनेशिया के बीच समझौतों को मंजूरी
केन्द्रीय कैबिनेट ने वैज्ञानिक एवं प्रौद्योगिकी क्षेत्रों में भारत और इंडोनेशिया के बीच सहयोग पर समझौते को अपनी मंजूरी दी और स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में दोनों देशों के बीच सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर को भी मंजूरी दे दी।
5. Government gives ex-post facto approval to India-Korea MoU on trade remedy cooperation
The government gave ex-post facto approval to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and Korea on trade remedy cooperation.
The MoU was signed in July during the State visit of President of Korea to India, an official statement said.
भारत-दक्षिण कोरिया समझौते को मंत्रिमंडल की मंजूरी
सरकार ने व्यापार समाधान सहयोग पर दक्षिण कोरिया के साथ हुए समझौते को मंजूरी दे दी। यह समझौता पहले ही हो चुका है।
एक आधिकारिक बयान में बताया गया कि दक्षिण कोरिया के राष्ट्रपति की सरकारी यात्रा के दौरान दोनों देशों के बीच इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये गये थे।
