Manu Bhaker clinches gold in 10m pistol; Heena Sidhu bags silver
India's quest for fame at the 2018 Commonwealth Games continues as 16-year-old Manu Bhaker and seasoned campaigner Heena Sidhu clinching gold and silver in the women's 10m Air Pistol shooting category in Australia's Gold Coast.
Bhakar set a new Commonwealth Games record in her category, as she fires a total of 240.9 to claim the gold medal. Whereas Sidhu bagged a silver with a total of 234.
India currently ranks third in the medal tally with the nine medals.

16 वर्षीय मनु ने गोल्ड कोस्ट राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों में महिलाओं के 10मीटर एयर पिस्टल इवेंट में गोल्ड जीता। वहीं भारत की ही हीना सिद्धू ने सिल्वर मेडल अपने नाम किया।मनु ने 240.9 का स्कोर हासिल किया जो कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स का रेकॉर्ड है। वहीं 28 वर्षीय सिद्धू 234 अंकों के साथ सिल्वर मेडल जीता।
9 पदक के साथ भारत वर्तमान में पदक में तीसरे स्थान पर है।
CWG 2018: Punam Yadav Won 5th gold for India
The gold rush continued in weightlifting for India as Punam Yadav added a fifth to the tally with a top finish in the 69kg category of the 21st Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. The Indian weightlifter, a bronze medallist from the 2014 Glasgow edition, won the event with a combined lift of 222kg (100kg+122kg).

पूनम में वेटलिफ्टिंग में महिलाओं की 69 किलोग्राम वर्ग में भारत को पांचवां गोल्ड मेडल दिलाया।भारत की महिला भारोत्तोलक पूनम यादव ने यहां जारी 21वें राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों में भारत को स्वर्णिम शुरुआत दी। पूनम में भारोत्तोलन में महिलाओं की 69 किलोवर्ग भार स्पर्धा में भारत को पांचवां स्वर्ण पदक दिलाया। भारत को पांच स्वर्ण पदक भारोत्तोलन प्रतियोगिता में ही मिले हैं। पूनम ने कुल 222 किलो का भार उठाया।
