The eighth edition of 'EKUVERIN', the Indo-Maldives joint military exercise started in Belagavi, Karnataka. This bilateral annual military exercise will last for 14 days.
The seventh edition of this exercise was held at Kadhdhoo, Lammu Atoll, Maldives in December 2016.

भारत और मालदीव की सेनाओं ने कर्नाटक के बेलगावी में संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास ‘एकुवेरिन’ के आठवें संस्करण की शुरुआत की। यह द्विपक्षीय वार्षिक सैन्य अभ्यास 14 दिन तक चलेगा।
इस अभ्यास का सातवां संस्करण दिसंबर, 2016 में मालदीव के लम्मू एटोल में हुआ था।
Rashesh Shah took over as the new president of the country's top industry body, Ficci for the year 2017-18.
Shah is also the Chairman & CEO of Edelweiss Group. Sandip Somany was elected Ficci's Senior Vice-President and Sangita Reddy its Vice President.

राशेस शाह ने वर्ष 2017-18 के लिये देश के शीर्ष उद्योग मंडल फिक्की के नये अध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्यभार संभाला।
शाह एडेलवेइस समूह के चेयरमैन एवं मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी भी हैं। इसके सासथ ही संदीप सोमानी को फिक्की का वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष और संगीता रेड्डी को उपाध्यक्ष चुना गया है।
