Danfoss, UN join hands for low-cost energy in six cities

Energy efficiency solutions provider Danfoss Industries has partnered the United Nations to introduce District Energy System in India in association with state-run EESL.

As part of the United Nations Sustainable Energy for All initiative, six cities including Thane, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Rajkot, Coimbatore and Bhopal have been chosen to explore District Energy Systems.

ऊर्जा दक्षता समाधान प्रदान करने वाली डेनफॉस इंडस्ट्रीज ने भारत में जिला ऊर्जा प्रणाली पेश करने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र के साथ समझौता किया है। डेनफॉस सरकारी कंपनी ईईएसएल के साथ मिलकर काम कर रही है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र सतत ऊर्जा पहल के हिस्से के रूप में ठाणे, पुणे, भुवनेश्वर, राजकोट, कोयम्बटूर और भोपाल को जिला ऊर्जा प्रणालियों के लिए चुना गया है।

Ficci appoints Ajay Chhibber as chief economic advisor

Ficci has appointed Ajay Chhibber as Chief Economic Advisor to supervise economic policy research at the industry chamber. Chhibber was associated with the World Bank from 1983 to 2008.

उद्योग मंडल फिक्की ने अजय छिब्बर को मुख्य आर्थिक सलाहकार नियुक्त किया। उनके पास उद्योग मंडल में आर्थिक नीति शोध की देख-रेख की जिम्मेदारी होगी।

छिब्बर 1983 से 2008 के बीच विश्वबैंक से जुड़े थे। वह विश्वबैंक से हटने के समय निदेशक(स्वतंत्रा मूल्यांकन समूह) पद पर थे।
