Government launches index to rank 116 cities on quality of life (national)
The Centre launched a liveability index which will rank the country's 116 major cities on the basis of the quality of life they offer.
Launching the first City Liveability Index, Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said, it will cover cities with population above one million, including the capital cities.
The first-of-its-kind index will enable the cities know where they stand in terms of the quality of life and the interventions required to improve it.
सरकार ने गुणवत्तापूर्ण जीवन की पेशकश करने वाले 116 शहरों की रैंकिंग के लिये नया सूचकांक शुरू किया
केंद्र ने रहने के लिये उपयुक्त शहरों की रैंकिंग करने के लिए एक नया सूचकांक शुरू किया। इसके तहत देश के 116 शहरों की जिस तरह के गुणवत्तापूर्ण जीवन की पेशकश वे करते हैं उस आधार पर उनकी रैंकिंग की जाएगी।
पहले रहने योग्य नगर सूचकांक की शुरूआत करते हुए केंद्रीय शहरी विकास मंत्री एम वेंकैया नायडू ने कहा कि इसके दायरे में प्रदेशों की राजधानियों समेत 10 लाख से अधिक की आबादी वाले शहर आएंगे।
Haryana village dedicated to US President Donald Trump
Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trip to the US, a village in Mewat region of Haryana has been dedicated to President Donald Trump.
Now onwards, the village will be known as Trump Sulabh Village.
अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप को समपर्ति किया गया हरियाणा का गांव
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अमेरिका की यात्रा से पहले हरियाणा के मेवात क्षेत्र के एक गांव को आज राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप को समर्पित किया गया।
अब से गांव 'ट्रंप सुलभ गांव' के रूप में जाना जाएगा।
