Israel to supply advanced defence systems to Indian Navy
Israel will supply advanced long-range air and missile defence systems to four Indian Navy ships under a USD 630 million deal to be jointly executed with Bharat Electronics Limited, state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries said.
The announcement of the deal came ahead of a possible visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Israel in July.

इस्राइल की सरकारी इस्राइल एयरोस्पेस इंडस्ट्रीज :आईएआई: ने कहा है कि भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड :बीईएल: के साथ संयुक्त रूप से किए गए 63 करोड़ डॉलर के समझौते के तहत इस्राइल भारतीय नौसेना के चार पोतों के लिए लंबी दूरी की आधुनिक वायु और मिसाइल रक्षा प्रणाली की आपूर्ति करेगा।
समझौते की घोषणा ऐसे समय की गई है जब प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जुलाई माह में संभवत: इस्राइल के दौरे पर जा सकते हैं।

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off Tejas Express
The high speed, air-conditioned Tejas Express flagged off from Mumbai to Goa. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off the premium luxury train through video conferencing.
Tejas will have ultra-modern amenities like LED TV, wi-fi and CCTV. The train will operate five days a week during non-monsoon period, and three days a week during monsoon period.

मुम्बई से गोवा के करमाली तक रेल कनेक्टविटी देने वाली इस गाड़ी ने प्रवासियों के लिए एलइडी टीवी, वाई-फाई इंटरनेट सेवा, सीसीटीवी के साथ-साथ कई और अत्याधुनिक सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराई है। यह रेलगाड़ी मॉनसून के दौरान सप्ताह में तीन दिन और बाकी समय सप्ताह में पांच दिन चलेगी।
Harsh Vardhan takes charge of environment ministry
Union minister Harsh Vardhan took over the charge of the environment ministry that fell vacant after the death of Anil Madhav Dave.
Dave had passed away on May 18 after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 60.
The government had subsequently handed over the additional charge of the ministry to Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan.
हषर्वर्धन ने पर्यावरण मंत्रालय का प्रभार संभाला
केंद्रीय मंत्री हषर्वर्धन ने पर्यावरण मंत्रालय का प्रभार ले लिया। पर्यावरण मंत्री अनिल माधव दवे के निधन के चलते यह पद रिक्त हो गया था।
दवे का 60 वर्ष की आयु में दिल का दौरा पड़ने से गत 18 मई को निधन हो गया था।
सरकार ने विज्ञान एवं तकनीक मंत्री हषर्वर्धन को पर्यावरण मंत्रालय का अतिरिक्त प्रभार भी सौंप दिया।
