स्वच्छ भारत मिशन पर ‘कॉमिक-बुक’ के प्रकाशन और वितरण के लिए शहरी विकास मंत्रालय और अमर चित्र कथा के बीच सहमति-पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर
स्वच्छ भारत मिशन पर ‘कॉमिक-बुक’ के एक विशेष संस्करण के प्रकाशन और वितरण के लिए शहरी विकास मंत्रालय और अमर चित्र कथा के बीच सहमति-पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। यह ‘कॉमिक-बुक’ 32 पन्नों की होगी, जिसमें स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के स्वच्छता और ठोस कचड़ा प्रबंधन के संबंध में संदेश शामिल होगा।
MoU signed between MoUD and Amar Chitra Katha to publish and distribute a Comic Book on Swachh Bharat Mission
The Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Amar Chitra Katha to publish and distribute a special edition of the comic book, focusing on Swachh Bharat Mission. The 32-page comic book will carry messages pertaining to sanitation and solid waste components of Swachh Bharat Mission.
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल बिपिन रावत नये सेना उपप्रमुख
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल बिपिन रावत 1 सितंबर, 2016 को सेना उप प्रमुख का पद संभालेंगे। उन्हें दिसंबर,1978 में 11 गोरखा राइफल्स की पांचवीं बटालियन में कमीशन प्राप्त हुआ था। वे देहरादून स्थित भारतीय सैन्य अकादमिक (आईएमए) के स्नातक हैं, जहां उन्हें ‘सोर्ड ऑफ ऑनर’ प्रदान किया गया था।
Lt Gen Bipin Rawat to take over as the VCOAS
Lt Gen Bipin Rawat will take over as the VCOAS of the Indian Army on 01 September 2016. He was commissioned in the Fifth Battalion of the Eleven Gorkha Rifles in December 1978, from IMA, Dehradun, where he was awarded the ‘Sword of Honour’.
विश्व बैंक के लॉजिस्टिक्स कुशलता सूचकांक में भारत ने 19 स्थानों की छलांग लगाई
विश्व बैंक ने हाल में लॉजिस्टिक्स कुशलता सूचकांक (एलपीआई) 2016 रिपोर्ट जारी की है। इसका शीर्षक है ‘कनेक्टिंग टू कम्पलीट 2016’। विश्व बैंक प्रत्येक दूसरे वर्ष लॉजिस्टिक्स कुशलता सूचकांक प्रकाशित करता है।
भारत अब 160 देशों में 35वें स्थान पर है। 2014 में भारत एलपीआई रैंकिंग में 54वें स्थान पर था। यह 19 स्थानों की छलांग है।
India jumps 19 places in World Bank’s Logistics Performance Index
The World Bank has recently released a Logistics Performance Index (LPI) 2016 report titled “Connecting to Complete 2016”. The Logistics Performance Index Report is published by World Bank every two years.
India has now been ranked 35 amongst 160 countries compared to rank of 54 in LPI 2014. This is a jump of 19 places.
