World number one Jordan Spieth matched Tiger Woods by winning his seventh PGA Tour event with a dominant victory at Hawaii's Tournament of Champions.He became only the second player to finish a 72-hole event on the PGA Tour at 30-under par or lower, emulating South African Ernie Els who won the 2003 Tournament of Champions.

5. The Nati folk dance of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest folk dance in the world.Nati entered in the book as the largest folk dance in terms of participants’ number. Total 9892 women participated in this folk dance in their traditional colourful Kulluvi on 26 October 2015 during International Dussehra festival.
हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्लू जिले के नाटी लोक नृत्य को में गिनीज बुक ऑफ़ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में स्थान दिया गया। कुल्लू दशहरा महोत्सव के दौरान 26 अक्तूबर 2015 को प्राइड ऑफ कुल्लू के अंतर्गत बेटी बचाओ थीम पर एक साथ 9892 महिलाओं ने भाग लिया था।

7. Telangana became the first State in India to introduce compulsory gender education at the graduate level.In this regard, the state introduced a bilingual textbook titled, Towards a World of Equals.The book was introduced on a pilot basis in engineering colleges affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-Hyderabad).
तेलंगाना देश का पहला ऐसा राज्य बन गया जिसने स्नातक स्तर पर लैंगिक शिक्षा को अनिवार्य कर दिया। इस संबंध में राज्य सरकार ने ‘टूवार्डस अ वर्ल्ड्स ऑफ़ इक्वल्स” नामक एक द्विभाषी पाठ्यपुस्तक जारी की है। इस पुस्तक को वर्तमान में जवाहरलाल नेहरू टेक्नोलॉजिकल यूनिवर्सिटी (जेएनटीयू) ,हैदराबाद से मान्यता प्राप्त इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में प्रायोगिक आधार पर शुरू किया गया है।
8. China announced that it began testing the country’s first Tibet language search engine named 'Cloud Tibet'.
चीन ने देश में निर्मित तिब्बत भाषा के पहले सर्च इंजन 'क्लाउड तिब्बत' पर परीक्षण आरंभ किया।
9. Additional Secretary in the Steel Ministry Bharathi S Sihag has been given the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of state-rum iron ore miner NMDC, with effect from January 1, 2016. Sihag holds the charge of Financial Adviser in the ministry.
इस्पात मंत्रालय की अतिरिक्त सचिव भारती एस सिहाग को सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की लौह अयस्क खनन कंपनी एनएमडीसी का अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपा गया है जो एक जनवरी 2016 से प्रभावी है। सिहाग के पास मंत्रालय के वित्तीय सलाहकार का भी प्रभार है।
9. The Employees ’Provident Fund Organisation has won the National Award on e-Governance 2015-16 for launching the Universal Account Number (UAN). The UAN facility enables workers to transfer their provident fund deposits while switching jobs anywhere in India easily. The EPFO won the gold award in the ‘innovative use of technology in e-governance’ category and the retirement body will get a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.
कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन ने यूनिवर्सल खाता संख्या (यूएएन) शुरू करने के लिए 2015-16 का राष्ट्रीय ई-गवर्नेंस पुरस्कार जीता है। यूएएन सुविधा, भारत में कहीं भी रोजगार बदलने पर भविष्य निधि जमा हस्तांतरित करने में कार्यकर्ताओं के लिये सक्षम व आसान बनाती है। ईपीएफओ ने 'ई-गवर्नेंस में प्रौद्योगिकी के अभिनव प्रयोग' श्रेणी में स्वर्ण पुरस्कार जीता है और सेवानिवृत्ति निकाय को 2 लाख रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार दिया जायेगा।
10. United States World Cup-winning captain Carli Lloyd has won the FIFA women’s world player of the year award for 2015. Lloyd dominated a worldwide vote and collected the award at FIFA’s annual awards ceremony in Zurich.
संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की विश्व कप विजेता कैप्टन कार्ली लॉयड ने 2015 के लिए फीफा का वर्ष की विश्व महिला खिलाड़ी का पुरस्कार जीता है। लॉयड ने दुनिया भर में आयोजित मतदान में प्रभुत्व जमाये रखा और ज्यूरिख में फीफा के वार्षिक पुरस्कार समारोह में पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया।
