1. Living up to his top billing, Stan Wawrinka annexed his third Chennai Open singles title in a row, demolishing the challenge of Borna Coric in the final. Wawrinka successfully defended his men’s singles title once again at the 20th edition of the $425,535 Chennai Open. It was his fourth Chennai Open Title.

4. Leonardo DiCaprio won the Golden Globe award for best dramatic actor in The Revenant. The Revenant earned Globes for best motion picture and best director for Alejandro Inarritu.
