1- Govt launches a portal- PRAKASH for monitoring coal supply to power plants
Power Minister RK Singh and Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi have jointly launched "PRAKASH - Power Rail Koyla Availability through Supply Harmony"- portal in New Delhi.
The portal aims at bringing better coordination for coal supplies among all stakeholders. This is an important step in ensuring adequate availability and optimum utilization of coal at thermal power plants. The portal is designed to help in mapping and monitoring the entire coal supply chain for power plants.
बिजली संयंत्रों को कोयला आपूर्ति की निगरानी के लिए सरकार ने एक पोर्टल-PRAKASH लॉन्च किया
ऊर्जा मंत्री आरके सिंह और कोयला, खान और संसदीय मामलों के मंत्री प्रल्हाद जोशी ने संयुक्त रूप से नई दिल्ली में "PRAKASH - पॉवर रेल कोयला की आपूर्ति सद्भाव के माध्यम से" पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है।
थर्मल पावर प्लांटों में कोयले की पर्याप्त उपलब्धता और इष्टतम उपयोग सुनिश्चित करने के लिए यह एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। पोर्टल बिजली संयंत्रों के लिए पूरे कोयला आपूर्ति श्रृंखला की मैपिंग और निगरानी में मदद करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।
2- President Kovind presents Vayoshreshtha Samman-2019
President Ram Nath Kovind conferred the Vayoshreshtha Samman-2019 on the eminent senior citizens and institutions in New Delhi in recognition of their services towards the cause of the elderly persons.
Vayoshreshtha awards are instituted by the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry and are presented as part of the celebration of the International Day of Older Persons on 1st October.
राष्ट्रपति कोविंद ने वयोश्रेष्ठ सम्मान -2019 प्रस्तुत किया
राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने नई दिल्ली में वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और संस्थाओं को वृद्ध व्यक्तियों के हित के लिए उनकी सेवाओं के सम्मान में वैश्यश्रेष्ठ सम्मान -2019 प्रदान किया।
वयोश्रेष्ठ पुरस्कार सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय द्वारा स्थापित किए जाते हैं और 1 अक्टूबर को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वृद्धजन दिवस के उत्सव के हिस्से के रूप में प्रस्तुत किए जाते हैं।
3- World Animal Day | 04 October
World Animal Day is a social movement charged with the Mission of raising the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe. Today we are celebrating, World Animal Day- “a day for remembering and paying tribute to all animals and the people who love and respect them.”
It was started in 1931 at a convention of ecologists in Florence, Italy, as a way of highlighting the plight of endangered species.
It takes place annually on 4 October, chosen as it is the feast day of St Francis of Assisi.
विश्व पशु दिवस | 04 अक्टूबर
विश्व पशु दिवस विश्व भर में कल्याण मानकों को बेहतर बनाने के लिए जानवरों की स्थिति बढ़ाने के मिशन के साथ एक सामाजिक आंदोलन है। आज हम विश्व पशु दिवस मना रहे हैं- एक ऐसा दिन जोकि समर्पित है "सभी जानवरों और उन्हें प्यार और सम्मान देने वाले लोगों को याद करने और उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देने वालों को".
यह 1931 में इटली के फ्लोरेंस में पारिस्थितिकीविदों के एक सम्मेलन में शुरू किया गया था, जिसमें लुप्तप्राय प्रजातियों की दुर्दशा को उजागर किया गया था।
यह 4 अक्टूबर को वार्षिक रूप से होता है।
4- 'Sarbat da Bhalha Express' train flagged off at New Delhi Railway Station
Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Harsimrat Kaur Badal flagged off 'Sarbat Da Bhala Express' at New Delhi Railway Station.
This train will run between New Delhi and Ludhiana City. The name of Ludhiana Shatabdi Express (12037/12038) has been changed to Intercity Express. Both its name and number have changed.
Now it will run from New Delhi railway station to Lohian Khas railway station under the name of Sarbat Da Bhalha Express (22479/22480).
The request to change the name of the train was made by Union Minister Harsimrat Badal on the occasion of 550th Prakash Utsav.
नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन पर 'सरबत दा भला एक्सप्रेस' ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाई गयी
केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल, केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन और हरसिमरत कौर बादल ने नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन पर 'सरबत दा भला एक्सप्रेस' को हरी झंडी दिखाई।
यह ट्रेन नई दिल्ली और लुधियाना सिटी के बीच चलेगी। लुधियाना शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस (12037/12038) का नाम इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस में बदल गया है। इसका नाम व नंबर दोनों बदल गए हैं।
अब यह सरबत दा भला एक्सप्रेस (22479/22480) के नाम से नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन से लोहियां खास रेलवे स्टेशन तक चलेगी।
ट्रेन का नाम बदलने का अनुरोध 550 वें प्रकाश उत्सव के अवसर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री हरसिमरत बादल ने किया था।
