1- Defence Minister Inaugurated ‘26th Ladakhi Kisan Jawan Vigyan Mela’ in Leh, Laddakh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has inaugurated ‘26th Ladakhi Kisan Jawan Vigyan Mela’ organised by Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) in Leh. This Vigyan Mela showcases crops and grains suitable for growing in high altitude areas.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was accompanied by DRDO Chief Satheesh Reddy. DIHAR is a research unit of DRDO in Ladakh. It is helping the farmers in revolutionising the Agriculture in cold desert region Ladakh.
रक्षा मंत्री ने लेह, लद्दाख में '26 वें लद्दाखी किसान विज्ञान मेले’ का उद्घाटन किया
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने लेह में डिफेंस इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ हाई एल्टीट्यूड रिसर्च (DIHAR) द्वारा आयोजित '26 वें लद्दाखी किसान विज्ञान मेले’ का उद्घाटन किया। यह विज्ञान मेला उच्च क्षेत्रों में उगने के लिए उपयुक्त फसलों और अनाजों को प्रदर्शित करता है।
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह के साथ डीआरडीओ प्रमुख सतीश रेड्डी थे। DIHAR लद्दाख में DRDO की एक अनुसंधान इकाई है। यह ठंडे रेगिस्तानी क्षेत्र लद्दाख में कृषि की क्रांति में किसानों की मदद कर रहा है।
2- Govt notifies 63 provisions of Motor Vehicles Act; implementation from Sep 1
Government has notified 63 provisions of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 2019 including the ones dealing with enhanced penalties for various traffic offences. The new clauses will come into effect from 1st of September.
The 63 clauses deal with penalties, licences, registration and National Transport Policy among others.
Under the new law, people will be charged enhanced penalty between one thousand to five thousand rupees for unauthorised use of vehicles without a licence. Besides, the penalty for driving without a license will go up from up to 500 to 5,000 rupees.
The new rules also enhance the penalty for drunken driving to imprisonment up to 6 months or fine up to 10 thousand rupees or both for the first offence and imprisonment up to 2 years or fine of 15 thousand rupees or both for the second offence.
The Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2019 was passed by Parliament earlier this August.
सरकार द्वारा मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के 63 प्रावधानों की अधिसूचना जारी; 1 सितंबर से होगा लागू
सरकार ने मोटर वाहन संशोधन अधिनियम 2019 के 63 प्रावधानों को अधिसूचित किया है, जो विभिन्न यातायात अपराधों के लिए बढ़े हुए दंड से संबंधित हैं। नई धाराएं 1 सितंबर से लागू होंगी।
63 क्लॉज़ दंड, लाइसेंस, पंजीकरण और राष्ट्रीय परिवहन नीति से संबंधित हैं।
नए कानून के तहत, लोगों से बिना लाइसेंस के वाहनों के अनाधिकृत उपयोग के लिए एक हजार से पांच हजार रुपये के बीच जुर्माना वसूला जाएगा। इसके अलावा, बिना लाइसेंस के गाड़ी चलाने पर जुर्माना 500 से 5,000 रुपये तक होगा।
नए नियमों में शराब पी कर ड्राइविंग के लिए पहली बार अपराध पर 6 महीने तक कारावास या 10 हजार रुपये तक जुर्माना या दोनों और दूसरी बार अपराध पर 2 साल तक कारावास या 15 हजार रुपये जुर्माना या दोनों बढ़ाये गए हैं।
मोटर वाहन (संशोधन) विधेयक 2019 अगस्त की शुरुआत में संसद द्वारा पारित किया गया था।
3- Elavenil Valarivan won maiden senior Shooting World Cup Gold
Elavenil Valarivan won a Gold medal at the Shooting World Cup in Rio de Janeiro in the 10m air rifle category with 251.7 points in the final.
This is the 20-year-old Elavenil's first senior World Cup gold medal.
India had already secured the maximum quota of two places in the 2020 Olympics in this event.
Valarivan is the third Indian to win a World Cup gold medal in this event, after Apurvi Chandela and Anjali Bhagwat.
एलावेनिल वलारिवन ने सीनियर शूटिंग वर्ल्ड कप गोल्ड जीता
एलावेनिल वलारिवन ने फाइनल में 251.7 अंकों के साथ 10 मीटर एयर राइफल श्रेणी में रियो डी जनेरियो में शूटिंग विश्व कप में स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
यह 20 वर्षीय एलावेनिल का पहला वरिष्ठ विश्व कप स्वर्ण पदक है।
भारत ने इस स्पर्धा में 2020 ओलंपिक में दो स्थानों का अधिकतम कोटा पहले ही हासिल कर लिया था।
अपूर्वी चंदेला और अंजलि भगत के बाद इस आयोजन में वलारिवन विश्व कप स्वर्ण पदक जीतने वाले तीसरे भारतीय हैं।
4- 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championship to be held in Arunachal Pradesh
The 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championship will be held in Arunachal Pradesh for the first time from September 10 to 24 this year.
The tournament will be held in the oldest town of the state Pasighat in East Siang District. A total of 30 teams from across the country, representing various States, Union Territories and Indian Railways will participate in the tournament.
The teams have been divided into eight groups---A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H. Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu &Kashmir and Telangana is in group H. The inaugural match will be played between Railways and Mizoram.
State’s Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Assembly Speaker PD Sona will attend the inaugural ceremony of the championship.
अरुणाचल प्रदेश में आयोजित होगी 25 वीं सीनियर महिला राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल चैम्पियनशिप
25 वीं सीनियर महिला राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल चैम्पियनशिप इस वर्ष 10 से 24 सितंबर तक पहली बार अरुणाचल प्रदेश में आयोजित की जाएगी।
टूर्नामेंट पूर्वी सियांग जिले के पासीघाट के सबसे पुराने शहर में आयोजित किया जाएगा। टूर्नामेंट में विभिन्न राज्यों, केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों और भारतीय रेलवे का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाली देश भर की कुल 30 टीमें भाग लेंगी।
टीमों को आठ समूहों में विभाजित किया गया है --- ए, बी, सी, डी, ई, एफ, जी और एच। अरुणाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू और कश्मीर और तेलंगाना ग्रुप एच में है। उद्घाटन मैच रेलवे और मिजोरम के बीच खेला जाएगा।
राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री पेमा खांडू और विधानसभा अध्यक्ष पीडी सोना चैंपियनशिप के उद्घाटन समारोह में शामिल होंगे।
