1- Djokovic defeats Federer to win 2nd straight Wimbledon title
World number one Novak Djokovic defeated world number three Roger Federer in fifth-set tie-break to win his second straight Wimbledon title. Overall, it was Djokovic's fifth Wimbledon title and 16th Grand Slam title. The 32-year-old Serbian has become the fourth man after Federer, Rafael Nadal and Rod Laver to win four major titles since turning 30.

2- Williamson second captain to win Player of the World Cup award
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, who led Kiwis to 2019 World Cup final, has been named Player of the World Cup. The 28-year-old became the second captain in World Cup history to win the award after late New Zealand captain Martin Crowe in 1992 edition. Williamson scored 578 runs in ten 2019 World Cup matches at an average of 82.57.

3- Sprinter Hima Das wins 3rd international gold within 2 weeks
Sprinter Hima Das bagged her third international gold in two weeks after winning the women’s 200m event at the Kladno Memorial Athletics Meet in Czech Republic. Das clocked 23.43 seconds to win the event. Muhammed Anas also won gold in the men’s 400m event after clocking 45.21 seconds to finish first.

चेक गणराज्य में कल्दानो मेमोरियल एथलेटिक्स मीट में महिलाओं की 200 मीटर स्पर्धा जीतने के साथ पिछले दो हफ़्तों में स्प्रिंटर हेमा दास ने अपना तीसरा अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्वर्ण जीता। दास ने इस प्रतियोगिता को जीतने के लिए 23.43 सेकंड का समय लिया । मुहम्मद अनस ने भी पुरुषों की 400 मीटर स्पर्धा में 45.21 सेकेंड का समय निकालकर स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
4- Kalraj Mishra and Acharya Devvrat appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh & Gujrat respectively
President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Kalraj Mishra as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. According to a press communique, Acharya Devvrat has been transferred from Himachal Pradesh and appointed Governor of Gujarat. Kalraj Mishra has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. The appointments will take effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
कलराज मिश्र और आचार्य देवव्रत को क्रमशः हिमाचल प्रदेश और गुजरात का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया
राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने कलराज मिश्र को हिमाचल प्रदेश का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया है। एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, आचार्य देवव्रत को हिमाचल प्रदेश से स्थानांतरित किया गया और गुजरात का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया है और इसके साथ ही कलराज मिश्र को हिमाचल प्रदेश का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया है। नियुक्तियां उनके संबंधित कार्यालयों के प्रभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से प्रभावी होंगी।
