1. RIL, HDFC among 57 Indian companies on Forbes Global 2000 list
57 Indian Companies found a place in the Forbes' global list of 2000 companies-2019. Reliance Industries is the only Indian company in top 200 companies of the list. China's Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has topped this list.

फोर्ब्स की वैश्विक 2000 कंपनियों की सूची -2019 में भारत की 57 कंपनियों को जगह मिली है। रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज इस सूची में शीर्ष 200 कंपनियों में जगह बनाने वाली एकमात्र भारतीय कंपनी है। इस सूची में चीन का इंडस्ट्रियल एंड कॉमर्शियल बैंक ऑफ चाइना (आईसीबीसी) पहले स्थान पर है।
2. BDL signs pact to supply Heavy Weight Torpedoes to Indian Navy
Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) announced signing of a contract worth Rs 1,187.82 crores for supply of Heavy Weight Torpedoes to the Indian Navy.
According to a press release by the defence PSU, the contract was signed by NP Diwakar, Director (Technical), BDL and Nidhi Chhibber, Joint Secretary and Acquisition Manager (Maritime and Systems), Ministry of Defence at the national capital.
वरुणास्त्र टारपीडो की आपूर्ति के लिए भारत डायनमिक्स, नौसेना में समझौता
भारत डायनमिक्स लिमिटेड (बीडीएल) ने भारतीय नौसेना को ज्यादा शक्तिशाली वरुणास्त्र टारपीडो की आपूर्ति के लिए 1,187.82 करोड़ रुपये के ठेके पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
सार्वजनिक कंपनी की विज्ञप्ति के मुताबिक , बीडीएल के निदेशक (तकनीकी) एन पी दिवाकर और रक्षा मंत्रालय में संयुक्त सचिव और क्रय प्रबंधक ( मेरीटाइम एवं सिस्टम्स) निधि छिब्बर ने अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
3. Palestine honours Indian with 'Star of Jerusalem' award
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has conferred an Indian national with the 'Star of Jerusalem' medal.
It is the highest honour given to foreign nationals by the Palestinian Authority.

‘स्टार ऑफ यरुशलम’ फलस्तीन अधिकारियों द्वारा विदेशी नागरिकों को दिए जाने वाला सर्वोच्च सम्मान है।
4. Poet, lyricist Pazhavila Ramesan dies at 83
Poet and lyricist Pazhavila Ramesan died. He was 83.
Ramesan, 83, a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for overall contribution, had also penned songs for many Malayalam movies including 'Malooty', 'Uncle Bun' and 'Vasudha.'
कवि एवं गीतकार पझविला रामेसन का 83 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन
कवि और गीतकार पझविला रामेसन का निधन हो गया। वह 83 वर्ष के थे।
रामेसन को साहित्य के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान के लिए केरल साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया था। ‘मलूटी’, ‘अंकल बुन’ और ‘वसुधा’ सहित कई मलायालम फिल्मों के लिए उन्होंने गीत लिखे थे।
