1. Indian to head UN peacekeeping in South Sudan
The commandant of the Indian Army Infantry School, Lieutenant General Shailesh Tinaikar, has been appointed the commander of the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), the second biggest peacekeeping operation.

2. DRDO test fires guided bomb from Sukhoi combat jet
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test fired an indigenously-developed 500 kg class guided bomb from a Sukhoi combat jet at Pokhran in Rajasthan.
डीआरडीओ ने सुखोई लड़ाकू विमान से गाइडेड बम छोड़ने का सफल परीक्षण किया
रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) ने राजस्थान के पोकरण में एक सुखोई लड़ाकू विमान से 500 किलोग्राम श्रेणी के एक गाइडेड बम छोड़ने का सफल परीक्षण किया। यह बम देश में ही विकसित किया गया है।

4. Indian Delegation participates in Second SCO Mass Media Forum at Bishkek
The Second Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Mass Media Forum is being held at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from 23-26 May, 2019. A Delegation from I&B Ministry comprising of TVK Reddy, Addl. Director General and Ankur Lahoty, Asst. Director is representing India at the Forum.
भारतीय शिष्टमंडल ने बिश्केक में दूसरे एससीओ मास मीडिया फोरम में भाग लिया
किर्गिज़स्तान के बिश्केक में 23-26, मई 2019 तक दूसरा शंघाई सहयोग संगठन(एससीओ) मास मीडिया फोरम आयोजित किया गया है। फोरम की बैठक में सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय का एक शिष्टमंडल भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रहा है। शिष्टमंडल में अपर महानिदेशक टीवीके रेड्डी तथा सहायक निदेशक अंकुर लोहटी शामिल हैं।
