1. RBI categorises IDBI Bank as private sector lender
IDBI Bank has been categorised as a private sector lender following acquisition of majority stake by Life Insurance Corporation, RBI said.
In January, LIC completed the process of picking up a controlling 51% stake in the nearly crippled IDBI Bank.
आईडीबीआई निजी क्षेत्र के बैंक की श्रेणी में आया
रिजर्व बैंक ने आईडीबीआई बैंक को निजी क्षेत्र के बैंक की श्रेणी में रख दिया है। भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम (एलआईसी) के आईडीबीआई बैंक में बहुलांश हिस्सेदारी के अधिग्रहण के बाद यह कदम उठाया गया है।
एलआईसी ने संकट में फंसे आईडीबीआई बैंक में नियंत्रणकारी 51 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी का अधिग्रहण जनवरी में पूरा किया।
2. Anti-tank guided missile test-fired successfully
The Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully test fired indigenously developed, low weight, Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) for the second time on Thursday in the ranges of Rajasthan desert, a statement said.
The missile is incorporated with advanced features including state-of-the-art Imaging Infrared Radar (IIR) Seeker with integrated avionics, it said.
टैंक रोधी गाइडेड मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण
रक्षा अनुसंधान तथा विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) ने राजस्थान के रेगिस्तान रेंज में देश में विकसित कम वजन के मनुष्य द्वारा उठाये जाने योग्य टैंक रोधी गाइडेड मिसाइल (एमपीएटीजीएम) का दूसरी बार सफल परीक्षण किया।
एक बयान में कहा गया कि एमपीएटीजीएम में एकीकृत वैमानिकी व्यवस्था के साथ अत्याधुनिक इमेजिंग इंफ्रारेड रडार (आईआईआर) है।
