1. BALK (VERB): Prevent : (रुकावट डालना)

Synonyms: obstruct, hinder    
            
Antonyms: allow, permit

Example Sentence:

Somehow I managed to balk laughing.

2. AVOW (VERB): Acknowledge: (खुलकर कहना)

Synonyms: declare, concede    
            
Antonyms: ignore, refuse

Example Sentence:

Nobody avows my work, moreover I don’t like to blow my own trumpet.

3. AUGUST (ADJECTIVE): Acclaimed: (प्रतापी)

Synonyms: grand, eminent      
      
Antonyms: ignoble, despicable

Example Sentence:

He is an august man I think Police is barking up the wrong tree.

4. ALACRITY (NOUN): Promptness: (तत्परता)

Synonyms: alertness, avidity     
       
Antonyms: dullness, lethargy

Example Sentence:

India showed alacrity in extending the olive branch to Pakistan.

5. ADO (NOUN): Fuss: (हलचल)

Synonyms: bother, confusion
