Dear Readers,

As IBPS has released the official notification of the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs VII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II And III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and the exam is going to be held in the month of August 2018 and September 2018 for both the posts. Looking at the notification, we have now started subject-wise quizzes for the exam. It will include quizzes of all the subjects- Quantitative Aptitude, English, Reasoning and Computer. All these quizzes will be strictly based on the latest pattern of the IBPS RRB exam and will be beneficial for your preparations. Here, we are providing you important questions of English Language for IBPS RRB 2018 exam.

ANSWERS 

Q.1.(D) Relax should replace relaxed because modal auxiliaries (may, might, shall, should, can , could, will, would, must, ought) are always followed by first form of verbs. 

Q.2.(D) No error 

Q.3.(A) ‘Crisis’ should replace ‘crises’ 

Q.4.(A) ‘For’ should replace ‘To’ 

Q.5.(B) ‘To’ should replace ‘than’ because words like, junior, senior, superior, etc., are followed by ‘to’ 

Q.6.(C) ‘Does not she ?' should be in place of 'Is not it'. 

Q.7.(A) Delete times from the sentence. 

Q.8.(B) ‘His’ should replace ‘their’ 

Q.9.(C) Use ‘how’ before ‘read’ 

Q.10.(C) Use ‘was’ before caught as the tense is in passive.
