1. Reliance Jio, SBI enter MoU to deepen their digital partnership
Reliance Industries said that its telecom subsidiary Jio has entered into an MoU with State Bank of India (SBI) to deepen their digital partnership.
According to a company statement, the MoU is about the larger digital partnership which looks beyond the Jio Payments Bank which is a joint venture between RIL and SBI.

रिलांयस इंडस्ट्रीज ने कहा कि उसकी दूरसंचार सहयोगी कंपनी जियो ने भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) के साथ अपनी डिजिटल भागीदारी को मजबूत करने के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।
कंपनी ने एक बयान में कहा कि यह भागीदारी न सिर्फ आरआईएल और एसबीआई की संयुक्त उद्यम जियो पेमेंट बैंक के लिए की गई है, बल्कि यह उससे बढ़कर है। साथ ही इस भागीदारी का लक्ष्य अपने ग्राहक आधार को कई गुणा बढ़ाना है।
2. Veteran screenplay writer Jalees Sherwani dies
Jalees Sherwani, who had penned lyrics for several Salman Khan films like "Dabangg", "Wanted" and "Tere Naam", passed away. He was 70.
Apart from writing dialogues for "Sangam" and "Loafer", Sherwani also penned lyrics for films like "Partner", "Hello", "Garv" and "Hello Brother".

‘दबंग’, ‘वांटेड’ और ‘तेरे नाम’ जैसी सलमान खान की कई फिल्मों के लिये गाने लिख चुके मशहूर पटकथा लेखक जलीस शेरवानी का निधन हो गया। वह 70 साल के थे।
‘संगम’ और ‘लोफर’ जैसी फिल्मों के लिये संवाद लिखने के अलावा शेरवानी ने ‘पार्टनर’, ‘हेलो’, ‘गर्व’ और ‘हेलो ब्रदर’ जैसी फिल्मों के लिये गाने भी लिखे।
3. Naval version of Tejas undergoes successful tests
The naval version of the indigenously built Tejas Light Combat Aircraft underwent a series of successful tests to check its capability to land on an aircraft carrier, officials said.
"India has joined a select club of countries including US, Europe, Russia and China to have the capability to produce aircraft which can operate from an aircraft carrier," an official said.
तेजस के नौसेना संस्करण का सफल परीक्षण
स्वदेशी तरीके से निर्मित हल्के लड़ाकू विमान तेजस के नौसेना संस्करण का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया गया जिससे विमानवाहक पोत पर उसकी क्षमताओं को परखा जा सके। अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी दी।
एक अधिकारी ने कहा, ‘‘भारत अमेरिका, यूरोप, रूस और चीन जैसे उन चुनिंदा देशों में शुमार हो गया है जिनके पास ऐसे विमान के उत्पादन की क्षमता है जो विमान वाहक पोत से संचालित हो सकता है।’’

लग्जरी स्मार्टफोन बनाने वाली कंपनी एप्पल शेयर बाजार में सूचीबद्ध दुनिया की पहली ऐसी कंपनी बन गयी है जिसका बाजार मूल्यांकन एक हजार अरब डॉलर के पार हो गया है।
फैक्टसेट के अनुसार, एप्पल का शेयर कल 5.89 डॉलर मजबूत होकर 207.39 डॉलर पर पहुंच गया। इससे कंपनी का बाजार मूल्यांकन एक हजार अरब डॉलर के पार करीब 1,001,679,220,000 डॉलर पर पहुंच गया।
