1. POSTULATE (VERB): (स्वयं सिद्ध मान लेना): to assume to be true or existent

Synonyms: posit, guess

Antonyms: reject, deny

Example Sentence:

Freud postulated that we all have a death instinct. 

2. GEHENNA (NOUN): (कष्ट): place of the condemned; bad situation

Synonyms: misery, nightmare 

Antonyms: heaven, bliss

Example Sentence:

The survivors of the wreck face a different kind of gehenna. 

3. PAUSATION (NOUN): (स्र्कावट): break, pause 

Synonyms: hiatus, interruption

Antonyms: continuation, closure

Example Sentence:

You have to finish the task without pausations.

4. SUASIVE (ADJECTIVE): (समझाने-बुझाने वाला): effective 

Synonyms: compelling, convincing

Antonyms: ineffective, invalid

Example Sentence: 

Ministers of religion as well as physicians have always wielded the authority of suasive powers. 

5. RAZZ (VERB): (चिढाना): ridicule 

Synonyms: jest, joke

Antonyms: respect, honour

Example Sentence:

I take him at his word that this was basically locker-room talk—a joke, meant to razz other players. 

6. MONSTROUS (ADJECTIVE): (विकट/राक्षसी): shockingly devilish 

Synonyms: atrocious, heinous

Antonyms: moral, sensible

Example Sentence:

It is monstrous how badly he is treated. 

7. MORPH (VERB): (रूप बदलना): to change into

Synonyms: transform, contort

Antonyms: sustain, stagnate

Example Sentence:

Cinematic special effects morphed the villain into a snake. 

8. QUINTESSENTIAL (ADJECTIVE): (सारमय): representing the perfect example of a class or quality.

Synonyms: classic, ideal

Antonyms: atypical, unique

Example Sentence:

Everybody thinks of him as the quintessential New Yorker.

9. PREREQUISITE (ADJECTIVE): (शर्त): required or necessary as a prior condition

Synonyms: mandatory, expedient

Antonyms: inessential, voluntary

Example Sentence: 

Young children can be taught the prerequisite skills necessary for reading.

10. REVERENT (ADJECTIVE): (श्रद्धालु): showing great respect.

Synonyms: reverential, appreciative

Antonyms: impolite, rude

Example Sentence: 

A reverent silence followed the professor's lecture.
