Famous Hindi poet Gopal Das Neeraj passed away
Famous Hindi poet Gopal Das Neeraj passed away. He was 93.
He had also written songs for Bollywood films. He was awarded Padma Shri in 1991 and Padma Bhushan in 2007.
महान गीतकार कवि गोपालदास नीरज का निधन
महान गीतकार पद्मभूषण कवि गोपालदास नीरज का दिल्ली के अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (एम्स) में निधन हो गया। वह 93 वर्ष के थे।
उन्होंने बॉलीवुड फिल्मों के लिए गाने भी लिखे थे। उन्हें वर्ष 1991 में पद्मश्री और 2007 में पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया गया था।
RBI to soon issue new Rs 100 note in lavender colour
The Reserve Bank said it will soon issue new Rs 100 notes in lavender colour having motif of Rani ki vav, a stepwell located on the banks of Saraswati river in Gujarat's Patan.
"All Rs 100 banknotes issued earlier will also continue to be legal tender," the central bank said while announcing the issue of the new Rs 100 notes.
The base colour of the note is Lavender.
The note has other designs, geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.
Dimension of the banknote will be 66 mm x 142 mm, making it smaller than the current Rs 100 notes. The size of current Rs 100 notes is 157 mm x 73 mm
The new Rs 100 note follows, new notes in denomination of Rs 10, Rs 50 and Rs 500.
रिजर्व बैंक जारी करेगा हल्के बैंगनी रंग के 100 रुपये के नये नोट
रिजर्व बैंक ने कहा कि वह जल्दी ही हल्के बैंगनी रंग (लैवेंडर) वाला 100 रुपये का नया नोट जारी करेगा। इन नये नोट पर गुजरात के पाटन में सरस्वती नदी के किनारे स्थित बावड़ी ‘रानी की वाव’ का चित्रांकन होगा।
रिजर्व बैंक ने कहा, ‘‘इससे पहले जारी किये गये 100 रुपये के सभी नोट भी वैध होंगे।’’
इसका मूल रंग हल्का बैंगनी होगा। इसके साथ ही नोट में दोनों तरफ अन्य डिजाइन, ज्यामितीय रेखांकन आदि होंगे।
ये नोट 66 मिलीमीटर -142मिलीमीटर आकार के होंगे। यह आकार में मौजूदा 100 रुपये के नोट से छोटे होंगे।
बैंक ने कहा कि 10 रुपये, 50 रुपये और 500 रुपये के नये नोट पेश करने के बाद 100 रुपये के ये नये नोट जारी किये गये हैं।

This will not only ensure maintaining highest standard quality ecosystem for petroleum products used by all stakeholders including common man but also will save vital foreign exchange through import substitution for CRMs.

सीएसआईआर- नेशनल फिजिकल लेबोरेट्री(एनपीएल) ने भारतीय निर्देशक दृव्य के व्यावसायिक नाम के तहत पेट्रोलियम प्रमाणित संदर्भ सामग्री (सीआरएमएस) के देसी विकास के लिए हिंदुस्तान पेट्रोलियम लिमिटेड (एचपीसीएल) के साथ सहमति-पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किये।
इससे आम आदमी सहित सभी हितधारकों द्वारा इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों का न सिर्फ उच्चतम मानक गुणवत्ता पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को बनाए रखना सुनिश्चित होगा बल्कि सीआरएमएस के लिए निर्यात प्रतिस्थापन के जरिये विदेशी मुद्रा की बचत भी होगी।

Chhattisgarh's First Finance Minister Ramchandra Singh Deo Dies
Ramchandra Singhdeo, former and first Finance Minister of Chhattisgarh, passed away. He was 88.
He was from the Korea Raj family and was known as King of Korea.
Ramchandra Singhdev fought and won the assembly elections in 1967. In 1967, he was a minister of 16 departments. Simultaneously, Sinhdev remained a minister in both undivided Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
छत्तीसगढ़ के प्रथम वित्तमंत्री रामचंद्र सिंहदेव का निधन
छत्तीसगढ़ के पूर्व और पहले वित्त मंत्री रामचंद्र सिंहदेव का निधन हो गया। वह 88 वर्ष के थे।
वे कोरिया राज परिवार से थे और कोरिया कुमार के नाम से जाने जाते थे।
रामचंद्र सिंहदेव सन् 1967 में विधानसभा चुनाव लड़े और जीते भी। साल 1967 में वे 16 विभागों के मंत्री रहे। इसके साथ ही सिंहदेव अविभाजित मध्यप्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ दोनों जगहों पर मंत्री पद पर रहे।

WFI chief Brij Bhushan officially named as India's Chef de Mission for Asian Games
Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was officially appointed as the Chef de Mission (CDM) of the Indian contingent for the upcoming 18th Asian Games to be held in twin cities of Jakarta and Palembang from August 18 to September 2.
The four Deputy Chef de Missions are Raj Kumar Sacheti, Col Satyavrat Sheoran, Balbir Singh Kushwaha and Dev Kumar Singh.
डब्ल्यूएफआई अध्यक्ष बृजभूषण एशियाई खेलों में भारत के दल प्रमुख
भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के अध्यक्ष बृजभूषण शरण सिंह को जकार्ता और पालेमबांग में 18 अगस्त से दो सितंबर तक होने वाले 18 वें एशियाई खेलों के लिये भारतीय दल का अभियान प्रमुख बनाया गया है।
राजकुमार संचेती , कर्नल सत्यव्रत शेरान , बलबीर सिंह कुशवाहा और देव कुमार सिंह दल के उप प्रमुख होंगे।
