Dear Aspirants, 
Recently, Syndicate Bank has released 500 vacancies for the post of PO (PGDBF) and its exam was scheduled to be held on 18-Feb-18. But now the Bank has postponed the exam to 25-Feb-18. So the candidates who are preparing for the exam, have got one more week for their preparations. 

As we all know, exam pattern of different banking examination is changing drastically, so at this time, you will have to prepare yourself in such manner that you can perform well in every situation. Looking at the cut throat competition, we are sharing some preparation tips that will help you in cracking your exam. But before this let’s discuss the exam pattern for the upcoming Syndicate Bank exam.

Selection Process: In the selection process, one Online Test will be conducted by IBPS. After this online test, only qualified candidates have to take part in Group Discussion or Personal Interview (or both).

Detailed Syndicate Bank Exam Pattern 2018

The selection process comprises of –

1. Online Test

2. Interview and/or Group Discussion
  • The tentative date of Online Test is 25th February 2018. 
  • To crack this exam, you need to score minimum marks on each test and overall as well. 
  • There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. 
  • The Online Test will also involve a Descriptive Test. 
  • If you crack the Objective Test, only then your Descriptive Test will be checked. 
  • The Descriptive Test will be of qualifying in nature.

Syndicate Bank PO Preparation Tips- Descriptive Section: This section will be qualifying in nature. The candidates have to secure minimum marks ( 50% for general & 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in descriptive test to qualify for next process viz Interview and Group discussion.

 Tips for Descriptive Test: 
A) You must make sure to write the passage or essay in prescribed Word Limit only. 

B) Before starting to write, first of all make some point in mind just like blueprint, then start writing. In this way your content will stick over to the topic only.
