1. India successfully test-fired it’s indigenously developed nuclear capable Prithvi-II missile. It is a surface-to-surface missile with a strike range of 350 km.

2. The Reserve Bank of India has kept all its major policy rates unchanged with repo rate at 6% in its sixth bi-monthly Monetary Policy Review. With this, the Reserve Bank has reduced the economic growth projection for the current financial year to 6.6 percent from 6.7 percent earlier.
