J : B : S = 2 : 4 : 1 (Efficiency/कार्य क्षमता)

Q. 2 - 100 kg of one mixture is mixed with 180 kg of another mixture. The first mixture is made from two components A and B in the ratio 3 : 7 and the second mixture is made from two components A and B in the ratio 4 : 5 What is the ratio of B to A in the mixture?

100 किलोग्राम एक मिश्रण को 180 किग्रा दूसरे मिश्रण के साथ मिलाया जाता है। पहला मिश्रण दो घटकों A और B के 3 : 7 अनुपात से और दूसरा मिश्रण दो घटक A और B के 4 : 5 अनुपात से बनाया गया है। मिश्रण में B से A का अनुपात क्या है?



(1) 17 : 11

(2) 25 : 31

(3) 31 : 18

(4) 31 : 11

Sol. (1) -

Amount of component A in the first mixture/ पहले मिश्रण में घटक A की मात्रा =30
Amount of component A in the second mixture/ दूसरे मिश्रण में घटक A की मात्रा = 80
Total amount of component A/ घटक A की कुल मात्रा = 30 + 80 = 110
So, amount of component B in the mixture/ अतः, मिश्रण में घटक B की मात्रा = 170
Therefore, required ratio/ अतः अभीष्ट अनुपात = 17 : 11

Q. 3 – Shopkeeper purchased some goods for Rs.900 and sold one - third of the goods at a loss of what 12%, then at gain % should the remainder goods he sold to gain 18% profit on the whole transaction?

दुकानदार कुछ सामान 900 रु. का खरीदता है और एक - तिहाई सामान को 12% की हानि पर बेच देता है, तो किस लाभ प्रतिशत पर शेष सामान को बेचा जाय कि पूरी प्रक्रिया में 18% का लाभ प्राप्त हो ?
