1.Ishaan Khatter won the Best Actor Award for his debut film 'Beyond the Clouds' at Istanbul's 5th International Bosphorus Film Festival. The Majid Majidi directorial also won the Best Editing Award at the event.

2.The Indian men's kabaddi team defeated Pakistan 36-22, while the women's team beat South Korea 42-20, in the finals of the Asian Kabaddi Championship 2017 in Iran to win the gold medals.
भारत ने एशियाई कबड्डी चैंपियनशिप 2017 के फाइनल मुकाबले में पाकिस्तान को 36-22 से हराकर खिताब अपने नाम किया. वहीं दूसरी तरफ भारतीय महिला टीम ने भी एशियाई कबड्डी चैंपियनशिप के फाइनल में दक्षिण कोरिया को 42-20 से मात देकर खिताब जीता.
3.The Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi launched an intensive training program for Elected Women Representatives (EWRs) of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Master Trainers, in New Delhi. The training program will include simple engineering skills will give them an insight into women’s issues as well as focus on education and financial matters
महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री श्रीमती मेनका संजय गांधी ने नई दिल्ली में पंचायती राज संस्थानों और मास्टर ट्रेनर्स के निर्वाचित महिला प्रतिनिधियों (ईडब्ल्यूआर) के लिए गहन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम पेश किया। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में सरल इंजीनियरिंग कौशल शामिल होंगे, उन्हें महिलाओं के मुद्दों के साथ-साथ शिक्षा और वित्तीय मामलों पर ध्यान देने की भी जानकारी दी जायेगी।

भारतीय टेबल टेनिस खिलाड़ी जी. सतियान ने आईटीटीएफ चैलेंज स्पैनिश ओपन 2017 में जापान के कज़ुहिरो योशिमूरा को 4-2 (11-7, 3-11, 11-6, 6-11, 13-11, 11-7) से हराकर पुरुष एकल फाइनल में स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
5.South Africa's Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has been crowned Miss Universe 2017, becoming the second woman from South Africa to win the title. Laura González from Colombia was named the first runner-up while Miss Jamaica Davina Bennett stood third at the pageant which was held in Las Vegas, USA. India was represented by 21-year-old Shraddha Shashidhar
दक्षिण अफ्रीका के डेमी-लेई नेल-पीटर्स ने मिस यूनिवर्स 2017 का खिताब जीता, जो दक्षिण अफ्रीका की दूसरी महिला बन गई है जिन्होंने मिस यूनिवर्स ख़िताब जीता है। कोलंबिया की लौरा गोंजालेज पहली रनर-अप रही जबकि मिस जमैका डेविना बेनेट ने तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया, ये प्रतियोगिता लॉस वेगास यूएसए में आयोजित हुई थी। मिस यूनिवर्स 2017 प्रतियोगिता में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व 21 वर्षीय श्रद्धा शशिधर ने किया।
