1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 5th Global Conference on Cyber Space in New Delhi. The theme of the conference is Cyber for All: A Secure and Inclusive Cyberspace for Sustainable Development.

2. Three IITs and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore have made the cut among top 20 varsities in BRICS countries in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Rankings. The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has secured ninth rank followed by IISc, Bangalore (10), IIT Delhi (15) and IIT Madras (18). China's Tsinghua University has topped this list.
क्वाक्वारेली सायमंड्स (क्यूएस) की नवीनतम रैंकिंग में ब्रिक्स देशों के शीर्ष 20 विश्वविद्यालयों में तीन आईआईटी और भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान बेंगलुरू को शामिल किया गया है। भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान बंबई को नौवां स्थान दिया गया है, जिसके बाद आईआईएससी बेंगलुरू को दसवां, आईआईटी दिल्ली को 15 वां और आईआईटी मद्रास को 18 वां स्थान दिया गया है। चीन के शिंघुआ विश्वविद्यालय इस सूची में शीर्ष स्थान पर है।
