The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) jointly with the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) is organising a two-day national-level conference on ‘Crowd Management’ at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, starting today. The conference aims to strengthen the capacity of all the stakeholders to organise safe mass gathering events.

Ministry of Civil Aviation seeks to upgrade its AirSewa web portal; consults stakeholders for designing AirSewa 2.0.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation held a meeting of all stakeholders last week to invite suggestions for designing AirSewa 2.0, the upgraded version of the AirSewa web portal and mobile app that was launched in November last year to make air travel convenient and hassle-free. Nodal Officers of all stakeholders like Airlines, Airports, Immigration, Customs, DGCA, etc attended the meeting. Valuable suggestions for service improvement, enhancing user comfort and quick redressal of complaints were received and will be considered for incorporation in the design of AirSewa 2.0.

Odisha gives cash reward for medal winners in the 22nd Asian Athletics Championship.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik felicitated all the Indian medal winners from the just-concluded Asian Athletics Championships, where the country registered its best ever medal haul. While Rs 10 lakh each was awarded to gold medallists, Rs 7.5 lakh was given to each silver medal winner and Rs 5 lakh to each bronze-medallist. Patnaik handed over the cash prize to 29 winners -- 12 gold, five silver and 12 bronze winners -- at a special function held here, a day after the end of the events at Kalinga Stadium here.

ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने अभी संपन्न हुई एशियाई एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप से सभी भारतीय पदक विजेताओं को शुभकामनाएं दीं, जहां देश ने अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करते हुए पदक जीते। प्रत्येक स्वर्ण पदक विजेता को 10 लाख रुपये, प्रत्येक रजत पदक विजेता को 7.5 लाख रुपये और प्रत्येक कांस्य पदक विजेता को 5 लाख रुपये दिए गए। पटनायक ने कलिंगा स्टेडियम में समापन के एक दिन बाद आयोजित एक विशेष समारोह में 29 स्वर्ण पदक विजेता - 12 स्वर्ण, 5 रजत और 12 कांस्य पदक विजेता को सम्मानित किया।
