1. Senior British officer Cressida Dick has been appointed as the commissioner of London's Metropolitan Police, becoming the first woman to lead Scotland Yard in its 187-year history. 

ब्रिटेन में वरिष्ठ अधिकारी क्रेसिडा डिक को लंदन की मेट्रोपोलिटन पुलिस का आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया। देश के 187 साल के इतिहास में वह स्कॉटलैंड यार्ड का नेतृत्व करने वाली पहली महिला बन गई हैं।

2. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India's growth rate is projected to slow to 6.6 per cent in 2016-17 fiscal. 

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्राकोष (आईएमएफ) के अनुसार भारत की वृद्धि दर 2016-17 में घटकर 6.6 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान है।

3. China and France signed agreements on nuclear energy and science. 

चीन और फ्रांस ने परमाणु ऊर्जा और विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में कई समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए।

4. Queensland University of Technology of Australia has signed an agreement with IIT Madras to undertake joint applied research in information security, combustion and health technologies. 

आस्ट्रेलिया की क्वींसलैंड यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (क्यूयूटी) ने सूचना सुरक्षा, प्रदाह और स्वास्थ्य तकनीकों पर संयुक्त अप्लाइड रिसर्च के लिए आईआईटी मद्रास के साथ एक समझौता किया।

5. Bharti Airtel announced buying out Telenor’s India operations for Rs 7,000 crore. 

भारती एयरटेल ने टेलीनोर इंडिया के कारोबार का 7,000 करोड़ रुपये में अधिग्रहण करने की घोषणा की।

6. The government granted its approval to the signing of Air Services Agreement (ASA) between India and Greece which allows the airlines of the two countries to fly in each other's territory. 

सरकार ने यूनान द्विपक्षीय वायु सेवा करार (एएसए) पर दस्तखत को मंजूरी दी। इससे दोनों देशों की एयरलाइंनों को एक-दूसरे के क्षेत्र में उड़ान की अनुमति मिल जाएगी।

7. Kenneth J Arrow, the youngest-ever winner of a Nobel Prize for economics has died. He was 95. 

अर्थशास्त्र के लिए सबसे कम उम्र में नोबेल पुरस्कार जीतने वाले केनेथ जे ऐरो का निधन हो गया। वह 95 वर्ष के थे।

8. Indian Navy's aircraft carrier INS Viraat will be decommissioned from service on March 6. 

भारतीय नौसेना के विमान वाहक पोत आईएनएस विराट 6 मार्च को सेवा से डिकमीशन किया जाएगा।

9. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu launched the Antyodaya Express, a new fully unreserved train for the 'common man'. 

रेल मंत्री सुरेश प्रभु ने एक नई और पूरी तरह अनारक्षित ट्रेनअंत्योदय एक्सप्रेस का 'आम आदमी' के लिए शुभारंभ किया।

10. The government has launched free anti-virus softwares for mobiles and personal computers named 'Mkavach' and 'Samvid' respectively. 

सरकार ने मोबाइल फोन और निजी कंप्यूटर के लिए 'म्कवाच' और 'संविद' नामक मुफ्त एंटी वायरस सॉफ्टवेयर की शुरुआत की।
