दुरबुक-श्योक-दौलत बेग ओल्डी रोड पर KM-120 पोस्ट के पास
स्थित यह स्मारक दुनिया के सबसे कठिन सैन्य तैनाती क्षेत्रों में से एक में स्थित
है.इसे दुनिया के सबसे ऊंचे युद्ध स्मारक होने का गौरव भी प्राप्त है.15 जून,
2020 की रात को हुई गलवान झड़प दशकों में भारत और चीन के बीच सबसे
क्रूर टकरावों में से एक थी।

3 Maharashtra's
"Project Mahadeva" is a new, major grassroots football program for
U-13 boys and girls. Launched by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to identify
and develop talent from remote areas, the program will provide 60 selected players
with coaching, education, and a five-year scholarship, along with the
opportunity to train with Lionel Messi during his visit to Mumbai in December
2025. This will pave the way for future Indian football stars.

UPI is the best! The IMF has also approved it as the world's largest real-time
payment system. India tops the UPI global list with 49% share in the global
real-time payment system and 129.3 billion transactions. Brazil is at second
place with 14% market share and 37.4% transactions. ACI Worldwide's report
"Prime Time for Real-Time 2024" confirmed that UPI accounts for 49%
of global real-time transactions. It was launched in 2016.

5. The
Ministry of Finance has raised the foreign investment limit in AU Small Finance
Bank to 74% from 49%, which requires prior approval for foreign direct
investment. The move is aimed at providing adequate scope for foreign
investment through approved channels. As of September 30, foreign portfolio
investors held 34.5% of the bank's shares. AU Small Finance Bank is a leading
Indian bank which was earlier an NBFC and became an SFB in 2017. It is
headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

6. Airpay Payment Services has received RBI approval to operate as a
cross-border payment aggregator, completing its licensing under the Unified
Payment Aggregator framework. This allows the company to handle online,
offline, and international payments, positioning it as a full-stack payment
provider for Indian enterprises and SMEs. A payment aggregator is a service
that allows merchants to accept various payment methods, such as credit cards,
debit cards, UPI, and net banking, on a single platform.

7 India's first deep-sea marine microbial repository, to study
microorganisms found in extreme marine environments, is taking shape at the
National Institute of Ocean Technology's (NIOT) offshore campus near Nellore in
Andhra Pradesh. This state-of-the-art facility will enable scientists to study,
isolate, and cultivate microorganisms for industrial, biomedical, and
environmental applications.

8. Garuda
Shakti is a bilateral joint special forces military exercise between India and
Indonesia. The 10th edition of Exercise Garuda Shakti is underway at the
Special Forces Training School in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh. The exercise will
run from 3 to 12 December 2025. The aim of the exercise is to enhance
interoperability and facilitate exchange of best practices in planning and
executing counter-terrorism operations in semi-mountainous terrain. Inception:
The exercise has been taking place since 2012.

9. India participated in
the fourth Quad Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Tabletop Exercise
in Honolulu, strengthening disaster relief cooperation in the Indo-Pacific
region. The Quad is an informal strategic forum of India, the United States,
Japan, and Australia, whose primary objective is to build a free, open, and
prosperous Indo-Pacific region, and cooperates in areas such as humanitarian
assistance and disaster relief (HADR). The Quad was founded in 2007 by then Japanese
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
