1 External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar announced that India
has launched Operation Sagar Bandhu to assist Sri Lanka in the aftermath of
Cyclone Ditwa. Indian naval ships INS Vikrant and INS Udayagiri have already
delivered relief supplies to Colombo. Cyclone Ditwa has wreaked havoc in Sri
Lanka, causing incessant rains, landslides, and rising floodwaters.

की सहायता के लिए ऑपरेशन सागर बंधु शुरू किया है। भारतीय नौसैनिक जहाज INS

राहत सामग्री पहुँचा चुके हैं। चक्रवात दित्वा ने श्रीलंका में भारी तबाही मचाई है, जिससे लगातार बारिश, भूस्खलन और बाढ़ का पानी बढ़

2 Prime Minister Narendra
Modi unveiled Asia's tallest statue of Lord Rama in South Goa. This statue of
Lord Rama stands at 77 feet tall, making it the tallest statue ever erected.
Made of bronze, the statue was created by renowned sculptor Ram V.S. Sutar. The
Prime Minister also attended the 550th anniversary celebrations of the Sri
Sansthan Gokarna Partagali Jivottam Math. In Goa, the Prime Minister
inaugurated an interactive Ramayana theme park.

शामिल हुए। गोवा में, प्रधानमंत्री ने एक

3 The Ministry of
Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Panchayati Raj has released the
Basic Animal Husbandry Statistics 2025, which provides national and state-wise
data on the production and per capita availability of milk, eggs, meat and
wool. Milk production: 1st globally. Egg production: 2nd globally. Meat
production: 4th globally. Wool: Rajasthan is the top producer.

4 Union
Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the Saras
Aajeevika Food Festival 2025 in New Delhi tomorrow. The Rural Development
Ministry said that around 300 Lakhpati Didis and women from self-help groups
from 25 states across the country will participate in the festival. Several
states, including Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Assam, Uttar
Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Gujarat, are participating in the food festival.
The country's diverse food culture and social fabric will be showcased through
over 500 delicious dishes.

ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान कल नई दिल्ली में सरस आजीविका फ़ूड
फ़ेस्टिवल 2025 का उद्घाटन करेंगे। ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय ने कहा कि देश भर के 25
राज्यों से लगभग 300 लखपति दीदी और सेल्फ़-हेल्प ग्रुप की महिलाएं इस फ़ेस्टिवल
में हिस्सा लेंगी। फ़ूड फ़ेस्टिवल में हरियाणा,
अरुणाचल प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, केरल, असम, उत्तर प्रदेश,
उत्तराखंड, गोवा और गुजरात समेत कई राज्य
हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। देश के अलग-अलग तरह के फ़ूड कल्चर और सामाजिक ताने-बाने को 500

5. India has
been re-elected to the UNESCO Executive Board for the term 2025-29. India was
also elected for the term 2021-25. UNESCO is a specialized agency of the United
Nations (UN). It was established in 1945. It seeks to build peace through
international cooperation in education, science and culture. Elected by the
General Conference, the UNESCO Executive Board consists of 58 Member States
serving four-year terms.

6. ICC Chairman Jay Shah received the 'Indian of the Year 2025' award
for his contributions to women's cricket. He dedicated the honor to the Indian
women's cricket team and captain Harmanpreet Kaur. Jay Shah was honored for his
important decisions, including equal pay, the WPL, and the modernization of
cricket. Jay Shah's journey—from BCCI Secretary (2019–2024) to ICC Chairman
(2024–present).

7 India achieved a major milestone on the global skills stage when
it made its debut at the WorldSkills Asia Competition (WSAC) 2025, securing an
impressive 8th place among 29 participating countries. The Indian team
comprised 23 participants, competing in 21 skill categories. The Ministry of
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship represented India at the competition
held in Chinese Taipei.

8. The
government has announced plans to establish India's first National Coral Reef
Research Institute (NCRRI) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The institute
will be built at Chidiyatapu in South Andaman at an estimated cost of ₹120
crore. It will serve as the central nodal and monitoring agency for coral reef
research across the country. It will become India's first dedicated facility
focused exclusively on coral reef study and conservation.

इंस्टीट्यूट (NCRRI) बनाने के प्लान की

लिए सेंट्रल नोडल और मॉनिटरिंग एजेंसी के तौर पर काम करेगा। कोरल रीफ स्टडी और
कंजर्वेशन पर खास तौर पर फोकस करने वाली यह भारत की पहली डेडिकेटेड फैसिलिटी बन
जाएगी।
9. In a major relief to
farmers, the central government has issued new provisions under the Pradhan
Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) to cover losses caused by wild animal attacks
and submergence of paddy crops in flood-prone areas. These provisions will be
applicable nationwide from Kharif 2026. It was launched in 2016 to protect
farmers from natural disasters, pests, diseases, and weather-related risks.

सरकार ने किसानों को बड़ी राहत देते हुए प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना (PMFBY)
के अंतर्गत जंगली जानवरों के हमलों और बाढ़-प्रवण क्षेत्रों में
पड्डी (धान) फसल डूबने से होने वाली क्षति को कवर करने के लिए नए प्रावधान जारी
किए हैं। ये प्रावधान खरीफ 2026 से देशभर में लागू होंगे।इसकी शुरुआत वर्ष 2016
में किसानों को प्राकृतिक आपदाओं, कीटों, बीमारियों एवं मौसम संबंधी जोखिमों से सुरक्षा देने के लिए की गई थी।
10 Russian President
Vladimir Putin will visit India on December 4–5, 2025, for the 23rd
India–Russia Annual Summit. Diplomatic relations between India and Russia began
in 1947 and deepened during the Cold War. The annual summits, held alternately
in India and Russia since 2000, are a key means of reviewing the progress of
bilateral relations and setting future goals.
रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन 4–5 दिसंबर 2025 को 23वें भारत–रूस वार्षिक शिखर सम्मेलन के लिए भारत आएंगे। भारत और रूस के राजनयिक संबंध 1947 में शुरू हुए और शीत युद्ध के दौरान यह संबंध और गहरे हुए। वार्षिक शिखर सम्मेलन, जो 2000 से हर वर्ष भारत और रूस में बारी-बारी से आयोजित होते हैं, द्विपक्षीय संबंधों की प्रगति की समीक्षा और भविष्य के लक्ष्यों के निर्धारण का प्रमुख माध्यम हैं।
