1. NASA plans to accelerate the construction of a nuclear reactor as part of its broader goal of establishing a permanent human base on the Moon by 2030. The reactor would have a capacity of 100 kilowatts, which is less than the capacity of coastal wind turbines, which generate 2-3 megawatts of electricity. China and Russia also plan to build autonomous nuclear power stations on the Moon by 2035.

NASA 2030 तक चंद्रमा पर एक स्थायी मानव आधार स्थापित करने के अपने व्यापक लक्ष्य के अंतर्गत एक परमाणु रिएक्टर के निर्माण को तीव्र करने की योजना बना रहा है। इस रिएक्टर की क्षमता 100 किलोवाट होगी, जो तटीय पवन टर्बाइनों की क्षमता से कम है, जो 2-3 मेगावाट विद्युत उत्पन्न करते हैं। चीन और रूस की भी 2035 तक चंद्रमा पर स्वचालित परमाणु ऊर्जा स्टेशन बनाने की योजना है।

 2   The central government is considering a major overhaul of the GST, proposing a simplified structure with primary slabs of 5% and 18%, along with a 40% rate for luxury and demerit goods. The aim of this overhaul is to move most items from the 12% slab to the 5% and 28% slabs to the 18% slab, giving the common man the benefit of lower taxes on everyday necessities.

केंद्र सरकार जीएसटी में बड़े बदलाव पर विचार कर रही है, जिसके तहत 5% और 18% के प्राथमिक स्लैब के साथ एक सरलीकृत संरचना का प्रस्ताव है, साथ ही विलासिता और अहितकर वस्तुओं के लिए 40% की दर भी प्रस्तावित है। इस बदलाव का उद्देश्य अधिकांश वस्तुओं को 12% के स्लैब से हटाकर 5% और 28% के स्लैब से हटाकर 18% के स्लैब में लाना है, जिससे आम आदमी को रोज़मर्रा की ज़रूरतों पर कम कर का फ़ायदा होगा।

 3. Sudarshan Chakra Mission: Prime Minister Modi has announced Mission Sudarshan Chakra, a comprehensive national security initiative to protect India's critical assets. This multi-layered defence system, inspired by Lord Krishna's Sudarshan Chakra, will integrate advanced indigenous technology to counter air, land and maritime threats. The mission aims to develop an Iron Dome-like shield that will enhance India's defence capabilities and ensure civil security.

सुदर्शन चक्र मिशन: प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने भारत की महत्वपूर्ण संपत्तियों की सुरक्षा के लिए एक व्यापक राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा पहल, मिशन सुदर्शन चक्र की घोषणा की है। भगवान कृष्ण के सुदर्शन चक्र से प्रेरित यह बहुस्तरीय रक्षा प्रणाली, वायु, थल और समुद्री खतरों का मुकाबला करने के लिए उन्नत स्वदेशी तकनीक को एकीकृत करेगी। इस मिशन का उद्देश्य आयरन डोम जैसी ढाल विकसित करना है, जिससे भारत की रक्षा क्षमताएँ बढ़ेंगी और नागरिक सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित होगी।

 4. PM Modi on Independence Day launched a landmark initiative worth ₹1 lakh crore to empower India's youth. The scheme provides direct financial assistance of ₹15,000 to individuals. The assistance aims to promote entrepreneurship, skill development and self-reliance among young Indians, a crucial investment in their future.

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर भारत के युवाओं को सशक्त बनाने के लिए ₹1 लाख करोड़ की एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल की शुरुआत की। यह योजना व्यक्तियों को ₹15,000 की प्रत्यक्ष वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करती है। इस सहायता का उद्देश्य युवा भारतीयों में उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा देना, कौशल विकास को बढ़ावा देना और आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा देना है, जो उनके भविष्य में एक महत्वपूर्ण निवेश है।

 5. Rating agency S&P Global Ratings has upgraded India's credit rating after 19 years. S&P has raised the country's long-term sovereign credit rating by one notch from 'BBB-' to 'BBB'. The outlook has been kept stable. The agency has cited India's better monetary policy measures to curb inflation, political commitment to fiscal consolidation and strong economic growth as the reason behind this.

रेटिंग एजेंसी S&P ग्लोबल रेटिंग्स ने 19 साल बाद भारत की साख को अपग्रेड किया है। S&P ने देश की लॉन्ग टर्म सॉवरेन क्रेडिट रेटिंग को 'BBB-' से एक पायदान बढ़ाकर 'BBB' कर दिया है। आउटलुक स्टेबल रखा है। इसके पीछे एजेंसी ने भारत के महंगाई पर अंकुश लगाने वाले बेहतर मौद्रिक नीति उपायों, फिस्कल कंसोलिडेशन के लिए राजनीतिक प्रतिबद्धता और मजबूत आर्थिक वृद्धि का हवाला दिया है।

 6. In July this year, the country's trade deficit increased to $27.35 billion. This is an 8-month high. Earlier, such a high level was seen in November 2024. In the month of June, the trade deficit was $18.78 billion. A year ago, i.e. in July 2024, the trade deficit was $23.5 billion. Trade deficit is the difference between export and import. If import is more than export, then a trade deficit situation arises.

इस साल जुलाई में देश का व्यापार घाटा (Trade Deficit) बढ़कर 27.35 अरब डॉलर हो गया। यह 8 महीने का हाई है। इससे पहले इतना हाई लेवल नवंबर, 2024 में देखा गया था। जून महीने में व्यापार घाटा 18.78 अरब डॉलर रहा था। एक साल पहले यानि कि जुलाई 2024 में व्यापार घाटा 23.5 अरब डॉलर था। व्यापार घाटा निर्यात (Export) और आयात (Import) के बीच का अंतर होता है। अगर आयात, निर्यात से ज्यादा होता है तो ट्रेड डेफिसिट की स्थिति बनती है।

7. The mascot and logo of the first-ever Khelo India Water Sports Festival (KIWSF) were unveiled in Srinagar on August 14, 2025. The event is scheduled to be held at the iconic Dal Lake from August 21 to 23, making it the first water sports event under Khelo India. Himalayan Kingfisher was unveiled as the mascot. It is being organised under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and Sports Authority of India (SAI)

पहली बार खेलो इंडिया वाटर स्पोर्ट्स फेस्टिवल (केआईडब्ल्यूएसएफ) के शुभंकर और लोगो का अनावरण 14 अगस्त, 2025 को श्रीनगर में किया गया। यह आयोजन 21 से 23 अगस्त तक प्रतिष्ठित डल झील में होने वाला है, जिससे यह खेलो इंडिया के तहत पहला जल खेल आयोजन होगा। शुभंकर के रूप में हिमालयन किंगफिशर का अनावरण किया गया। यह युवा मामले एवं खेल मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत तथा जम्मू एवं कश्मीर खेल परिषद और भारतीय खेल प्राधिकरण (एसएआई) के सहयोग से आयोजित हो रहा है।

8. On 27 September 2025, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is completing 100 years of its establishment. Addressing the nation from the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the world's largest NGO, whose identity has been service, dedication, organization and unmatched discipline. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was founded on 27 September 1925 on the day of Vijayadashami by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur. Its objective was to organize the Hindu society and awaken national consciousness and promote cultural nationalism.

 

27  सितंबर 2025 को राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (RSS) की स्थापना के 100 साल पूरे हो रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने लाल किले से राष्ट्र को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि सेवा, समर्पण, संगठन और अप्रतिम अनुशासन जिस संगठन की पहचान रही है ऐसा पहचान रही है ऐसा राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ एक प्रकार से दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा एनजीओ है। राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ की स्थापना 27 सितंबर 1925 को विजयादशमी के दिन डॉ. केशव बलिराम हेडगेवार ने नागपुर में की थी. इसका उद्देश्य हिंदू समाज को संगठित करना और राष्ट्रीय चेतना जागृत करना और सांस्कृतिक राष्ट्रवाद को बढ़ावा देना था.

9. Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), an initiative under NITI Aayog, was launched in 2016. AIM aims to promote grassroots innovation and support students, startups and entrepreneurs. AIM 2.0 aims to expand, strengthen and deepen India's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

10. Bank of Baroda has launched international UPI features on its official app, Bob e Pay. The update enables cross-border UPI transactions, making it easier for resident Indians and NRIs to make secure and real-time global payments. The bank was founded on 20 July 1908 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, Maharaja of Baroda, in Baroda State, Gujarat. It was nationalized on 19 July 1969 by the Government of India along with 13 other major commercial banks of India

बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा ने अपने आधिकारिक ऐप, बॉब ई पे पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय यूपीआई सुविधाएँ शुरू की हैं। यह अपडेट सीमा-पार यूपीआई लेनदेन को सक्षम बनाता है, जिससे निवासी भारतीयों और अनिवासी भारतीयों के लिए सुरक्षित और रीयल-टाइम वैश्विक भुगतान करना आसान हो जाता है। बैंक की स्थापना 20 जुलाई 1908 को बड़ौदा के महाराजा, महाराजा सयाजीराव गायकवाड़ III द्वारा बड़ौदा राज्य, गुजरात में की गई. भारत सरकार द्वारा भारत के अन्य 13 प्रमुख वाणिज्यिक बैंकों के साथ इसका 19 जुलाई 1969 को राष्ट्रीयकरण हुआ था।
