1. BMW Group India has appointed Hardeep Singh Brar as its new President and CEO from September 1, 2025. He will replace Vikram Pawah, who will now lead BMW's Australia and New Zealand operations. Vikram Pawah joined the BMW Group in 2017 and led operations in both India and Australia during his tenure. BMW Group India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BMW Group, headquartered in Gurugram.

BMW ग्रुप इंडिया ने हरदीप सिंह बरार को 1 सितंबर 2025 से अपना नया अध्यक्ष और CEO नियुक्त किया है। वह विक्रम पावाह का स्थान लेंगे, जो अब BMW के ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यूजीलैंड परिचालन का नेतृत्व करेंगे। विक्रम पावाह 2017 में BMW ग्रुप में शामिल हुए और अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया दोनों में परिचालन का नेतृत्व किया। BMW ग्रुप इंडिया, BMW ग्रुप की पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली सहायक कंपनी है, जिसका मुख्यालय गुरुग्राम में है।

2   The Bihar government has approved the domicile policy for reservation of women in government jobs. According to the new policy, now only women residing in Bihar will get the benefit of this 35% reservation. Women from outside Bihar will now be considered general candidates, they will not be eligible for the women quota.

बिहार सरकार ने सरकारी नौकरियों में महिलाओं के आरक्षण के लिए अधिवास नीति को मंजूरी दे दी है। नई नीति के अनुसार, अब केवल बिहार की निवासी महिलाओं को ही इस 35% आरक्षण का लाभ मिलेगा।  बिहार से बाहर की महिलाओं को अब सामान्य उम्मीदवार माना जाएगा, वे महिला कोटे के लिए पात्र नहीं होंगी।

3. India has launched a special training programme in cancer care for BIMSTEC countries. The programme is organised at the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) in Mumbai. The initiative was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 6th BIMSTEC Summit. It is being implemented by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in collaboration with the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).

भारत ने बिम्सटेक (BIMSTEC) देशों के लिए कैंसर देखभाल में एक विशेष प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है। यह कार्यक्रम मुंबई में टाटा मेमोरियल सेंटर (TMC) में आयोजित किया गया है। इस पहल की घोषणा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 6वें बिम्सटेक शिखर सम्मेलन के दौरान की थी। इसे विदेश मंत्रालय (MEA) द्वारा परमाणु ऊर्जा विभाग (DAE) के सहयोग से क्रियान्वित किया जा रहा है।

4. The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS). The partnership will be implemented under the newly launched 'Project Inclusion' through SAS's 'Ruparantar Programme'. It aims to strengthen the inclusive education ecosystem in India.

दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण विभाग (DEPwD) ने श्री अरबिंदो सोसाइटी (SAS) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। साझेदारी को SAS के 'रूपांतर कार्यक्रम' के माध्यम से नए लॉन्च किए गए 'प्रोजेक्ट इंक्लूजन' के अंतर्गत लागू किया जाएगा। इसका उद्देश्य भारत में समावेशी शिक्षा पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को सुदृढ़ करना है।

5. The Women Empowerment Vertical of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has launched a new initiative. The initiative is called 'WE WISE - Women in Innovation, Science and Entrepreneurship'. It aims to help women take leadership roles in technology, especially AI. WE WISE was launched during the Annual Plenary Meeting of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance (WBA) in Brazil.

BRICS चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (CCI) के महिला सशक्तिकरण वर्टिकल ने एक नई पहल शुरू की है। इस पहल का नाम 'WE WISE - वीमेन इन इनोवेशन, साइंस एंड एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप' है। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं को प्रौद्योगिकी, विशेष रूप से AI में नेतृत्व की भूमिका निभाने में सहायता करना है। WE WISE को ब्राज़ील में BRICS महिला व्यापार गठबंधन (WBA) की वार्षिक पूर्ण बैठक के दौरान लॉन्च किया गया था।

6. Sukanya Sonowal, a final year B.Tech student of IIT Guwahati, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (CYPAN). She will serve as the Head of Communications and Public Relations for the term 2025-2027. CYPAN is a youth-led initiative active in 56 Commonwealth countries.

7. Ethiopia has completed the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) - Africa's largest hydrostatic power plant. The dam is built on the Blue Nile River, which originates from Lake Tana in the Ethiopian Highlands. The Blue Nile River meets the White Nile at Al-Muqrin in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. The Nile River is the longest river in the world.

8. In Taiwan, Typhoon Danas has caused massive destruction. The storm has now weakened to a tropical storm and moved northward into the East China Sea. Southern Taiwan has been most affected. Typhoon Danas was known as Typhoon Bising in the Philippines. Cyclones are called by different names in different places.

ताइवान में, तूफान डानास ने भारी तबाही मचाई है। तूफान अब कमजोर होकरउष्णकटिबंधीय तूफान बदल गया है और उत्तर की ओर पूर्वी चीन सागर की ओर बढ़ गया है। दक्षिणी ताइवान सबसे अधिक प्रभावित हुआ है। तूफान डानास को फिलीपींस में तूफान बिसिंग के नाम से जाना गया । चक्रवात को अलग - अलग जगहों पर भिन्न - भिन्न नामों से पुकारा जाता है।

9. On the occasion of Ashadh Purnima, the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) will celebrate Dhammachakkappavattana Day with a grand spiritual program at Mulagandha Kuti Vihar in Sarnath. Ashadh Purnima is considered to be the first important turning point in the process of Dhamma Chakra Pravartan. On this day Lord Buddha preached for the first time to five ascetic companions at Rishipatan, now known as Sarnath.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बौद्ध परिसंघ (आईबीसी) की ओर से आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर सारनाथ के मूलगंध कुटी विहार में भव्य आध्यात्मिक कार्यक्रम के साथ धम्मचक्कप्पवत्तन दिवस मनाया जाएगा। आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा को धम्म चक्र प्रवर्तन की प्रक्रिया का प्रथम महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ माना जाता है। इसी दिन भगवान बुद्ध ने अब सारनाथ के नाम से विख्यात ऋषिपटन में पांच तपस्वी साथियों को पहली बार उपदेश दिया था।

10.  RBI has announced that it will conduct an auction to sell two government bonds worth ₹25,000 crore on July 11, 2025. The auction will be held on the e-Kuber platform from its Mumbai office. These bonds will help the government raise funds for long-term financial needs. A new government bond (called Government Securities or GS) worth ₹11,000 crore will mature on July 14, 2032. A re-issue of an old bond - 7.09% GS, will mature on November 25, 2074, worth ₹14,000 crore.

RBI ने घोषणा की है कि वह 11 जुलाई, 2025 को ₹25,000 करोड़ मूल्य के दो सरकारी बॉन्ड बेचने के लिए नीलामी करेगा। यह नीलामी उसके मुंबई कार्यालय से ई-कुबेर प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर होगी। इन बॉन्ड से सरकार को दीर्घकालिक वित्तीय ज़रूरतों के लिए धन जुटाने में मदद मिलेगी।₹11,000 करोड़ मूल्य का एक नया सरकारी बांड (जिसे सरकारी प्रतिभूति या जीएस कहा जाता है) 14 जुलाई 2032 को परिपक्व होगा। एक पुराने बांड का पुनः निर्गम - 7.09% जीएस, 25 नवंबर 2074 को परिपक्व होगा, जिसकी कीमत ₹14,000 करोड़ होगी।

11. NITI Aayog in collaboration with the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and UNDP released the second edition of the North Eastern Region District SDG Index (2023-24) in New Delhi. All the districts of Mizoram, Sikkim and Tripura achieved the Front Runner status. Hnahthial (Mizoram) is the best performing district with 81.43 points, while Longding (Arunachal Pradesh) has the lowest score of 58.71.

नीति आयोग ने पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र विकास मंत्रालय और UNDP के साथ मिलकर नई दिल्ली में पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र जिला SDG सूचकांक (2023-24) का दूसरा संस्करण जारी किया। मिजोरम, सिक्किम और त्रिपुरा के सभी जिलों ने फ्रंट रनर का दर्जा हासिल किया।हनाहथियाल (मिजोरम) 81.43 अंक के साथ सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाला जिला है, जबकि लोंगडिंग (अरुणाचल प्रदेश) का स्कोर सबसे कम 58.71 है।
