5. The Reserve Bank of India has announced a significant policy change to improve accountability in the digital lending sector. From May 13, 2025, all regulated financial institutions will have to report their digital lending apps on a centralised portal, CIMS. 10. Public sector Canara Bank and Union Bank of India announced special products to boost resource mobilisation.
