1- Multilingual Mobile App launched for farmers
Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala launched a multilingual Mobile App “CHC Farm Machinery” during a conference on Crop Residue Management in New Delhi. It will allow farmers to avail custom hiring services of CHCs located in a radius of 50 km.
The App connects the farmers with Custom Hiring Service Centers in their area. It can be downloaded on any android phone from Google Play Store.

कृषि राज्य मंत्री परषोत्तम रूपाला ने नई दिल्ली में फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन पर एक सम्मेलन के दौरान एक बहुभाषी मोबाइल ऐप "सीएचसी फार्म मशीनरी" लॉन्च किया।
यह किसानों को 50 किमी के दायरे में स्थित सीएचसी की कस्टम हायरिंग सेवाओं का लाभ उठाने की अनुमति देगा।
ऐप किसानों को उनके क्षेत्र में कस्टम हायरिंग सेवा केंद्रों से जोड़ता है। इसे गूगल प्ले स्टोर से किसी भी एंड्रॉयड फोन पर डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है।
2- Saudi Arabia appoints Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as new Energy minister
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia appointed Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as its new Energy minister, one of the most important positions in the government. He replaced the long-time oil industry veteran Khalid Al Falih. Prince Abdulaziz is the son of the King of Saudi Arabia. He had earlier served as the Deputy and State Energy Minister for several years. It is the first time a member of the ruling Al Saud family has held the energy minister post in the world’s top oil exporter.
Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel Shri Dharmendra Pradhan met the newly appointed Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman in Jeddah.

3- FIH rankings: Indian men’s hockey team stays fifth, women move up to ninth
The Indian men's hockey team was static at number five while the women's team climbed a place to number nine in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) rankings released.
Australia stands at the top position while Belgium at second but the points gap between the two nations has narrowed to just two. European bronze medallists the Netherlands remain third in the rankings, followed by the Pan American Games gold medallists Argentina. India is unchanged at number five while Germany has climbed one place to take the sixth position from England, who are now seventh.
In women's Netherlands tops the ranking and it is followed by Australia and Argentina. Indian team stands on 9th position.

भारतीय पुरुष हॉकी टीम पांचवें नंबर पर स्थिर थी जबकि महिला टीम अंतरराष्ट्रीय हॉकी महासंघ (एफआईएच) की रैंकिंग में नौवें स्थान पर रही।
ऑस्ट्रेलिया दूसरे स्थान पर है जबकि बेल्जियम दूसरे स्थान पर है लेकिन दोनों देशों के बीच अंकों का अंतर केवल दो हो गया है। यूरोपीय कांस्य पदक विजेता नीदरलैंड रैंकिंग में तीसरे स्थान पर है, उसके बाद पैन अमेरिकी खेलों के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता अर्जेंटीना हैं। भारत इस रैंकिंग में अपने पाचंवे स्थान पर बना हुआ है जबकि जर्मनी ने इंग्लैंड को पछाड़ कर छठवां स्थान प्राप्त किया और इंग्लैंड सातवें स्थान पर पहुंच गया है।
महिलाओं की रैंकिंग में नीदरलैंड्स सबसे ऊपर है और इसके बाद ऑस्ट्रेलिया और अर्जेंटीना हैं। भारतीय टीम 9 वें स्थान पर है।
4- Selekhmeteva, Bartone pair win Junior US Open Doubles trophy
Russian tennis player Oksana Selekhmeteva paired with Latvian player Kamilla Bartone won junior doubles trophy at US Open. The pair won over the French duo of Aubane Droguet and Selena Janicijevic.
सेलेकमेटेवा, बार्टन जोड़ी ने जूनियर यूएस ओपन डबल्स ट्रॉफी जीती
रूसी टेनिस खिलाड़ी ओक्साना सेलेमेटेवा ने लातवियाई खिलाड़ी कामिला बार्टन के साथ यूएस ओपन में जूनियर युगल ट्राफी जीती। इस जोड़ी ने औबाने ड्रोगेट और सेलेना जेनिसीजेविक की फ्रांसीसी जोड़ी पर जीत हासिल की।
5- 30 teams participating in 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championship
The 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championship will kick off on 10th September at Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh. Altogether 30 teams from across India are participating in the 15-day event. Teams have been divided into eight groups.
The inaugural match will be played between Railways and Mizoram.

25 वीं सीनियर महिला राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल चैंपियनशिप 10 सितंबर को अरुणाचल प्रदेश के पासीघाट में से शुरू होगी। 15-दिवसीय आयोजन में कुल मिलाकर भारत की 30 टीमें भाग ले रही हैं। टीमों को आठ समूहों में विभाजित किया गया है।
उद्घाटन मैच रेलवे और मिजोरम के बीच खेला जाएगा।
