1. PILLAGE (VERB): To take by force

Synonyms: loot, pilfer                           

Antonyms: give, offer

Example Sentence:  

The general was a decent man and did not allow any of his soldiers to pillage items from towns they invaded.     


 2. GUTTURAL (ADJECTIVE): Deep in sound

Synonyms: growling, husky                 

Antonyms: thin, dulcet

Example Sentence:  

Mariyam spoke in a low guttural voice.     


 3. GUSTO (NOUN): Great enthusiasm

Synonyms: brio, fervor                         

Antonyms: apathy, lethargy

Example Sentence:  

My brothers jumped into the swimming pool with gusto.     


 4. GUILELESS (ADJECTIVE): Honest

Synonyms: artless, genuine                  

Antonyms: cunning, deceitful

Example Sentence: 

She was so guileless that he had no option but to believe her.      


 5. GRUMPY (ADJECTIVE): Surly

Synonyms: peevish, cranky                   

Antonyms: cheerful, happy

Example Sentence: 

 No job is available in my company for a grumpy man.     


 6. GRUMBLE (NOUN): Complaint

Synonyms: protest, objection                

Antonyms: compliment, praise

ExampleSentence: 

My grumble is with the structure and organisation of her material.       


 7. GRISLY (ADJECTIVE): Gruesome

Synonyms: shocking, terrible                

Antonyms: nice, charming

Example Sentence:  

series of grisly murders has been solved.     


8. SLIGHTING (ADJECTIVE): Abusive
Synonyms: derisive, opprobrious    
Antonyms: praising, nice
Example Sentence: 
When we were some distance away he made a slighting remark about Millie.

9.  GARISH (ADJECTIVE): Flashy

Synonyms: ostentatious, showy         

Antonyms: simple, modest

Example Sentence:

I don’t like to wear garish attires.

10. OBSERVANT (ADJECTIVE): Perceptive

Synonyms: quick, aware               

Antonyms: vague, unobservant

Example Sentence:

An observant doctor can detect depression from expression and posture.
