8- Nirmal Purja, a Nepali climber, became the fastest climber to climb the 14 highest peaks in just six months. The previous record for the fastest hill climb was 7 years, 11 months and 14 days. He completed all 14 mountains, 8,000 meters (26,250 ft) in seven months under the 'Project Possible'.
