1- Mallikarjuna Rao appointed as Punjab National Bank's new MD
CH SS Mallikarjuna Rao has been appointed as Punjab National Bank's CEO and MD for up to September 18, 2021. Rao has previously served as the MD of Allahabad Bank and Executive Director of Syndicate Bank. The government announced the merger of United Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce with Punjab National Bank in August.
मल्लिकार्जुन राव को पंजाब नेशनल बैंक का नया एमडी नियुक्त किया गया
सीएच एसएस मल्लिकार्जुन राव को 18 सितंबर 2021 तक पंजाब नेशनल बैंक के सीईओ और एमडी के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। राव इससे पहले इलाहाबाद बैंक के एमडी और सिंडिकेट बैंक के कार्यकारी निदेशक के रूप में कार्य कर चुके हैं। सरकार ने अगस्त में पंजाब नेशनल बैंक के साथ यूनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया और ओरिएंटल बैंक ऑफ कॉमर्स के विलय की घोषणा की।
2- Economist Surjit Bhalla appointed as Executive Director for India at IMF
The government on appointed economist Surjit Bhalla as Executive Director (India) at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a period of three years. The post was lying vacant after the death of Subir Gokarn in July. Bhalla was a part-time member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council until December 2018.

सरकार ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (IMF) में तीन साल की अवधि के लिए अर्थशास्त्री सुरजीत भल्ला को कार्यकारी निदेशक (भारत) नियुक्त किया। जुलाई में सुबीर गोकर्ण की मृत्यु के बाद यह पद खाली पड़ा था। भल्ला दिसंबर 2018 तक प्रधानमंत्री की आर्थिक सलाहकार परिषद के अंशकालिक सदस्य थे।

4- ‘Paryatan Parv 2019’ to promote tourism kicks off at Rajpath Lawns in New Delhi
The nationwide Paryatan Parv, 2019 kicked off to promote tourism in the country. It will continue till 13th October 2019. The aim is to propagate the message of Dekho Apna Desh to encourage people to visit tourist destinations of the country and also spread the message of Tourism for All.

देश भर में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए राष्ट्रव्यापी पर्यटन पर्व, 2019 की शुरुआत हुई। यह 13 अक्टूबर 2019 तक जारी रहेगा। इसका उद्देश्य लोगों को देश के पर्यटन स्थलों की यात्रा के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए 'देखो अपना देश' के संदेश का प्रचार करना है और सभी के लिए पर्यटन का संदेश भी फैलाना है।
सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर, पेट्रोलियम मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान और पर्यटन मंत्री प्रहलाद सिंह ने पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 'पर्यटन पर्व 2019’ का उद्घाटन किया ।
