2. Bengali poet Nirendranath Chakraborty died
Famous Bengali poet Nirendranath Chakraborty died. He was 94.
Born in 1924 at Faridpur in undivided Bengal, Chakraborty was a dominant figure in the modern Bengali literary field.
His first book of poems 'Nil Nirjone' was published in 1954 when he was 30 years old.

मशहूर बंगाली कवि नीरेन्द्रनाथ चक्रवर्ती का निधन हो गया। वह 94 वर्ष के थे।
अविभाजित बंगाल के फरीदपुर में 1924 को जन्मे चक्रवर्ती आधुनिक बंगाली साहित्य के क्षेत्र में एक प्रमुख व्यक्ति थे।
कविता की उनकी पहली पुस्तक ‘नील निर्जन’ 1954 में उस समय प्रकाशित हुई थी जब वह 30 साल के थे।
