1. India, China to hold joint military exercises from Dec 10
The militaries of China and India would hold a joint military exercise "Hand in Hand" in southwest China's Chengdu city to improve their capabilities in fighting terrorism and promote mutual understanding. This 14-day military exercise will start from December 10.

भारत और चीन की सेना दक्षिण चीन के चेंगदु में आतंकवाद के खिलाफ लड़ाई में अपनी क्षमताओं को बढ़ाने तथा आपसी समझ को विकसित करने के लिए संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास "हैण्ड इन हैण्ड (हाथ में हाथ)" करेंगी । यह सैन्य अभ्यास 10 दिसंबर से शुरू होगा और 14 दिन तक चलेगा ।
2. Indian economy likely to grow at 7-7.4 per cent in FY19: NCAER
According to economic policy think-tank National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), Indian economy is projected to grow at 7-7.4 per cent in the current fiscal.
चालू वित्त वर्ष में अर्थव्यवस्था की वृद्धि दर 7 से 7.4 प्रतिशत रहेगी : एनसीएईआर
आर्थिक शोध संस्थान नेशनल काउंसिल आफ एप्लाइड इकनॉमिक रिसर्च (एनसीएईआर) के अनुसार, भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर चालू वित्त वर्ष में 7 से 7.4 प्रतिशत रहेगी।
3. Air forces of the US and India to hold joint exercise 'Cope India 2019'
Air forces of the United States and India are scheduled to participate in a 12-day joint exercise 'Cope India 2019' at two air force stations in West Bengal next month, the US Consulate said.
The exercise will be held from December 3 to 14 at Air Station Kalaikunda and Air Station Arjan Singh (Panagarh).
भारत और अमेरिका की वायु सेना संयुक्त अभ्यास करेंगी
अमेरिका के वाणिज्य दूतावास ने कहा कि भारत और अमेरिका की वायु सेनाएं पश्चिम बंगाल में वायु सेना के दो अड्डों पर 12 दिनो तक ‘‘कोप इंडिया 2019’’ नामक संयुक्त अभ्यास करेंगी ।
दोनों देशों के बीच यह सैन्य अभ्यास तीन दिसंबर को शुरू होगा जो 14 दिसंबर तक चलेगा । यह अभ्यास वायु सेना स्टेशन कलाइकुंडा और अर्जन सिंह (पानगढ़) में होगा ।
4. Manav Thakkar Shines in Portugal Open TT
Top-seeded Manav Thakkar clinched the singles and doubles titles at the Portugal Junior and Cadet Open in Guimaraes.
Manav defeated compatriot Jeet Chandra in a singles match which went down to the wire. He won 11-5, 7-11, 10-12, 11-8, 9-11, 11-4, 11-9.
He had beaten fifth-seed Italian John Oyebode 11-9, 11-6, 11-3, 9-11, 11-5 in the pre-quarterfinals, Portugal's Goncalo Gomez 11-5, 11-5, 11-9, 11-4 in the quarterfinals and third-seeded Indian Snehit 11-8, 6-11, 11-7, 11-5, 7-11, 6-11, 11-4 in the semifinals.
Manav partnered with Manush Shah to win the doubles title, as the top Indian pair overcame a stiff challenge from compatriots, second seeds Jeet Chandra and Snehit Suravajjula before winning 11-7, 11-6, 13-15, 7-11, 11-6.

मानव ने मानुष शाह के साथ मिलकर युगल खिताब भी जीता। मानव और मानुष की शीर्ष वरीय जोड़ी ने खिताबी मुकाबले में जीत और स्नेहित की हमवतन दूसरी वरीय जोड़ी को 11-7, 11-6, 13-15, 7-11, 11-6 से हराकर खिताब जीता।
5. UNESCO lists wrestling, reggae and raiho-shin rituals as global treasures to be preserved
Jamaican reggae, Georgian wrestling and Japanese rituals are among the six new elements added by UN cultural agency UNESCO to its list of “intangible heritage” for the world to treasure, improving the visibility of often little-known and understood arts traditions.
The Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is meeting until December 1 in Mauritius, inscribing new elements to its much coveted-list.
यूनेस्को की सूची में जार्जिया की कुश्ती, जमैका का रेगे संगीत शामिल
संयुक्त राष्ट्र की सांस्कृतिक एजेंसी यूनेस्को ने वैश्विक ‘अमूर्त धरोहरों’ की सूची में जिन छह नयी प्रथाओं को शामिल किया है उनमें जमैका की रेगे संगीत विधा, जार्जिया की कुश्ती और जापान राइहो-शिन प्रथाएं भी शामिल की गयी हैं।
अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक धरोहरों के संरक्षण के लिए अंतर-सरकारी समिति की बैठक मॉरीशस में एक दिसंबर को होगी जिसमें नयी विधाओं को शामिल करने की घोषणा की जाएगी।
