2. Nitu clinches second successive gold at world youth boxing championships
Defending champion Nitu (48kg) claimed her second successive gold at the world youth boxing championships.
The Haryana-boxer, who is also an Asian champion, defeated Thailand's Nillada Meekoon in a split decision on the first day of summit clashes in which she was the only Indian in action.

According to a report by HDFC Bank, the economic growth is expected to rise to 7.6 percent in the April-June quarter of 2018-19.

एचडीएफसी बैंक की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 2018-19 की अप्रैल-जून तिमाही में आर्थिक वृद्धि दर बढ़कर 7.6 प्रतिशत पर पहुंच जाने का अनुमान है। साल भर पहले यह दर छह प्रतिशत से कम थी।

India's 4x400m men's relay team won a silver in the final event of athletics in the Asian Games.
The Indian quartet of Kunhu Muhammed, Dharunn Ayyasamy, Mohd. Anas and Arokia Rajiv clocked 3:01.85 to finish behind Qatar who won gold in an Asian record time of 3:00.56.

भारत की चार गुणा 400 मीटर महिला रिले टीम ने एशियाई खेलों में एथलेटिक्स की अंतिम स्पर्धा में रजत पदक अपने नाम किया।
कुन्हु मोहम्मद, धारून अय्यासैमी, मोहम्मद अनस और अरोकिया राजीव ने तीन मिनट 01.85 सेकेंड का समय निकालकर दूसरा स्थान हासिल किया जिससे वह कतर से पीछे रही जिसने तीन मिनट 00.56 सेकेंड से एशियाई रिकार्ड समय से स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया।
