Pokhran which means “Place of 5 Mirages” is the place where the nuclear tests were carried out. These tests raised a worldwide uproar and registered India’s name in the list of nuclear nations.
US President Donald Trump has recently announced his decision to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action Agreement (JCPOA) signed in 2015 between the United States, United Kingdom, the Russian Federation, France, China, Germany and the European Union on one side, and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the other.
