65th National Awards announced
65th National Awards have been announced. This year, the best actress award will be given to the late actress Sridevi. This year's Dada Saheb Phalke Life Time Achievement Award will be given to the late actor Vinod Khanna. The award for Best Hindi Film will be given to 'Newton'. However, actor Pankaj Tripathi received 'Special Mention Award' for 'Newton' only.

65वें राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की गयी है. इस वर्ष राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कारों में बेस्ट एक्ट्रेस का अवॉर्ड दिवंगत एक्ट्रेस श्रीदेवी को दिया जाएगा. जबकि इस साल का दादा साहेब फाल्के लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड दिवंगत एक्टर विनोद खन्ना को दिया जायेगा. सर्वश्रेष्ठ हिंदी फिल्म का पुरस्कार 'न्यूटन' को दिया जायेगा. जबकि 'न्यूटन' के लिए ही एक्टर पंकज त्रिपाठी को स्पेशल मेंशन अवॉर्ड दिया जायेगा.
Appointment - Bhanu Pratap Sharma
Bhanu Pratap Sharma is appointed as the new chairman of Banks Board Bureau (BBB). He was the former chairman of the Recruitment and Assessment centre of DRDO and former principal secretary (Finance), in the Bihar government. He replaces Vinod Rai, former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), who was appointed as BBB’s first chairman in April 2016.

भानु प्रताप शर्मा को बैंक बोर्ड ब्यूरो (बीबीबी) के नए अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है| वह डीआरडीओ के भर्ती और आकलन केंद्र के पूर्व अध्यक्ष थे और बिहार सरकार में पूर्व प्रधान सचिव (वित्त) रह चुके हैं| वह विनोद राय, पूर्व नियंत्रक और महालेखा परीक्षक (सीएजी) की जगह लेंगे, जिन्हें अप्रैल 2016 में बीबीबी के पहले अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था।
Indian shooter Tejaswini won gold in Commonwealth Games
In the 21st Commonwealth Games, Indian shooter Tejaswini Sawant won the gold medal in women's 50m rifle 3 position event with a Commonwealth Games record and Anjum Mudgal won the silver medal. Tejaswini scored 457.9 in the final while Anjum scored 455.7 points. In this tournament, India has won 14 medals, including 5 golds in the shooting.
भारतीय शूटर तेजस्विनी ने कामनवेल्थ गेम्स में जीता स्वर्ण
21वें कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में भारतीय शूटर तेजस्विनी सावंत ने कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स रिकॉर्ड बनाकर महिलाओं की 50 मीटर राइफल 3 पोज़िशन में स्वर्ण और अंजुम मुद्गल ने रजत पदक जीत लिया। तेजस्विनी ने फाइनल में 457.9 जबकि अंजुम ने 455.7 अंक जुटाए। इसके साथ टूर्नामेंट में भारत ने निशानेबाज़ी में 5 स्वर्ण समेत कुल 14 पदक जीत लिए हैं।
