Delhi Airport Tops Service Quality Awards 2017: ACI
- Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), a GMR led consortium, announced that Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has become the worlds number one airport in the highest category (over 40 million passengers per annum -MPPA) as per Airports Council International (ACI) - ASQ 2017 rankings.
- With 63.5 million passengers flying through the airport, it has surpassed Changi, Incheon and Bangkok airports in terms of passenger growth. It is now the seventh busiest airport in Asia and among the top 20 busiest airports across the world.
- Srinivas Bommidala is the Chairman-Airports of GMR Group.
- I Prabhakara Rao is the CEO of Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL).
- दिल्ली इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट लिमिटेड (डायल), जीएमआर की अगुवाई वाली कंसोर्टियम ने घोषणा की कि दिल्ली की इंदिरा गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा (आईजीआईए) उच्चतम श्रेणी में (प्रति वर्ष 40 मिलियन से अधिक यात्रि -एमपीपीए) एयरपोर्ट परिषद इंटरनेशनल के अनुसार (एसीआई) - एएसक्यू 2017 रैंकिंग में दुनिया का नंबर एक हवाई अड्डा बन गया है ।
- हवाई अड्डे के माध्यम से उड़ने वाले 63.5 मिलियन यात्रियों के साथ, यात्री विकास की दृष्टि से, चांगी, इनचान और बैंकाक हवाई अड्डों से आगे बढ़ गया है। यह अब एशिया में सातवां व्यस्ततम हवाई अड्डा है और दुनिया भर के शीर्ष 20 सबसे व्यस्त हवाई अड्डों में से एक है।
