K P Sharma Oli Becomes Nepal PM for Second Time
- K P Sharma Oli became Nepal's Prime Minister for the second time.
- He is the chairperson of CPN-UML.
- President Bidhya Devi Bhandari appointed 65-year-old Oli as the country's 41st prime minister.
- He had served as the country's prime minister from October 11, 2015 to August 3, 2016.
- Oli is known for his pro-China stance.
- Oli's PM candidacy was supported by the UCPN-Maoists, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, and Madhesi Rights Forum-Democratic along with 13 other small parties.
- The former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba submitted his resignation to the president.
- Deuba was elected as the 40th Prime Minister on June 6 with the support from CPN (Maoist Centre).

- ओली की उम्मीदवारी को यूसीपीएन-माओवादियों, राष्ट्रीय प्रज्ञागत दल नेपाल, और मधेशी राइट्स फ़ोरम-डेमोक्रेटिक और 13 अन्य छोटे दलों ने समर्थन दिया।
- पूर्व प्रधान मंत्री शेर बहादुर देउबा ने अपना इस्तीफा राष्ट्रपति को सौंप दिया।
- सीपीएन (माओवादी केंद्र) से समर्थन के साथ 6 जून को देउबा को 40 वें प्रधान मंत्री के रूप में चुना गया था।
Dr. Dinesh Arora Becomes Director Of 'Ayushman India'
- The government has appointed IAS officer Dr. Dinesh Arora as director of 'Ayushman Bharat' scheme.
- Arora, a 2002 batch Kerala cadre IAS officer, is currently a director in the Niti Ayog and looks after health related matters.
- Dr. Arora, has been the Director of Rural Electricity Program in Central Power Ministry. During his tenure, the work of rural electrification had accelerated.
- On the other hand, the 1987 batch of Madhya Pradesh cadre Secretary, Manoj Jhalani has been appointed as the Mission Director of Ayushman India.
- It is worth mentioning that under the ambitious Ayushman Bharat Scheme of Modi Government, there is a plan to provide treatment to 10 million poor families up to five lakh rupees.
- Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced this plan in the General Budget 2018-19.
- The policy has been prepared by the Niti Ayog. Dr. Arora played an important role in preparing the plan outline.
'आयुष्मान भारत' के निदेशक बने डा. दिनेश अरोड़ा
- सरकार ने आइएएस अधिकारी डा. दिनेश अरोड़ा को 'आयुष्मान भारत' योजना का निदेशक नियुक्त किया है।
- केरल कैडर के 2002 बैच के आइएएस अधिकारी अरोड़ा फिलहाल नीति आयोग में निदेशक हैं और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी मामले देखते हैं।
- पेशे से डाक्टर, अरोड़ा इसके पहले वह केंद्रीय विद्युत मंत्रालय में ग्रामीण विद्युत कार्यक्रम के निदेशक रह चुके हैं।
- उनके कार्यकाल में ही ग्रामीण विद्युतीकरण के काम में तेजी आई थी।
- वहीं मध्य प्रदेश कैडर के 1987 बैच के अतिरिक्त सचिव मनोज झालानी को सरकार ने आयुष्मान भारत का मिशन डाइरेक्टर नियुक्त किया है।
- उल्लेखनीय है कि मोदी सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी आयुष्मान भारत योजना के तहत 10 करोड़ गरीब परिवारों को पांच लाख रुपये तक के इलाज कराने की सुविधा देने की योजना है।
- वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने इस योजना का ऐलान आम बजट 2018-19 में किया था।
- इस योजना का खाका नीति आयोग ने तैयार किया है। योजना का खाका तैयार करने में डा. अरोड़ा ने अहम भूमिका निभायी है।
Ashok Das Appointed Indian Envoy To Brazil
- Ashok Das, a 1987 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, has been appointed as India’s new Ambassador to Brazil.
- According to a statement from the ministry, Das will take over as his immediate post, which is now additional secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
- Both India and Brazil are members of BRICS Economic Group, including China, Russia and South Africa.
अशोक दास को ब्राजील में भारतीय राजदूत नियुक्त किया गया
- भारतीय विदेश सेवा (आईएफएस) 1987 बैच के अधिकारी, अशोक दास को ब्राजील में भारत का नया राजदूत घोषित किया गया है|
- मंत्रालय के एक बयान के अनुसार दास, शीघ्र ही अपना पद संभालेंगें जोकि अभी विदेश मंत्रालय में अतिरिक्त सचिव हैं|
- भारत और ब्राज़ील दोनों ही ब्रिक्स आर्थिक समूह के सदस्य हैं, जिनमें चीन, रूस और दक्षिण अफ्रीका भी शामिल हैं|
