1. According to a report by New World Wealth, India has been ranked sixth in the list of wealthiest countries with a total wealth of $8,230 billion. The United States has topped this list.

2. The Indian Navy has launched the third Scorpene class submarine 'Karanj'. This submarine has been constructed by shipbuilder Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL).
