Sol:

Suppose the first number is x
Then 2nd number = 100 – x
LCM HCF = 1st number 2nd number

So the difference

2.) A pipe of diameter d can drain a certain water tank in 40 minutes. The time taken by a pipe of diameter 2d for doing the same job?

We have to find the HCF of (1657 – 6 = 1651)  and (2037 – 5 = 2032)
1651 = 13 x 127
2032 = 16 x 127
So  HCF = 127
So, required number will be 127

Let the width of path be x m.

x cannot be 30 since the width of the path be 5 m.

If 3 years S.I is 540 then one year S.I will be 180.
If two year CI is 376.20 then we can say that
