Lok Sabha Approves Law Making Instant Triple Talaq A Criminal Offense

The Lok Sabha has passed the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2017 which criminalizes the practice of instant triple talaq.
The bill criminalises instant triple talaq and makes it punishable by up to three years imprisonment for the husband.

तीन तलाक संबंधी विधेयक को लोकसभा की मंजूरी

लोकसभा ने एक बार में तीन तलाक को अवैध करार देने वाले मुस्लिम महिला विवाह अधिकार संरक्षण विधेयक 2017 को मंजूरी दे दी।
विधेयक में एक बार में तीन तलाक को दंडनीय अपराध की श्रेणी में रखते हुए तीन वर्ष तक कारावास और जुर्माने का प्रावधान किया गया है ।
