The Union Cabinet has approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Colombia in the field of agriculture and fisheries.
The MoU provides for cooperation in the following fields of agriculture and Fisheries:
1. Innovative agricultural practices/approaches,

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने कृषि और मत्स्य पालन के क्षेत्र में भारत और कोलंबिया के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर को मंजूरी दी।
समझौता ज्ञापन कृषि और मत्स्य पालन के निम्नलिखित क्षेत्रों में सहयोग प्रदान करेगा :-
1. आधुनिक कृषि पद्धतियां/दृष्टिकोण
2. कृषि संबंधी नये यांत्रिकीकरण

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated a 60 MW Tuitial Hydroelectric Power Project in Mizoram to the Nation.
The Tuirial HEPP has been constructed as a Central Sector Project and implemented by North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने मिजोरम में 60 मेगावॉट की ट्युरिअल जलविद्युत परियोजना राष्ट्र को समर्पित की।
ट्युरिअल जलविद्युत परियोजना का निर्माण केंद्रीय क्षेत्र योजना के रूप में किया गया है। इसका क्रियान्यवन विद्युत मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत पूर्वोत्तर इलेक्ट्रिक पॉवर कार्पोरेशन(नीपको) द्वारा किया गया है।
Eminent Bengali poet Joy Goswami will be awarded with the 31st Moortidevi Award for the year 2017. He will be the first Bengali poet to receive this award.
He will get this award for his collection 'Du Dondo Phowara Matro'.
