1.Sunil Kumar Chourasia, IOFS, has been appointed as the new Director General of Ordnance Factories (DGOF) and Chairman of the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) w.e.f. 1st December, 2017. Previously, he was Member, OFB and was in charge of Material & Components division.
सुनील कुमार चौरसिया को आयुध निर्माणियो के नए महानिदेशक और आयुध निर्माणी बोर्ड के प्रमुख के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है । वह अपना पदभार ०१ दिसम्बर २०१७ से संभालेंगे। इससे पहले, वह ओफबी के सदस्य थे और भौतिक और अवयव विभाग के प्रभारी थे।
2.Five-time world champion M C Mary Kom has resigned as the national observer for Indian boxing. The 35-year- old Olympic bronze- medallist was among 12 national observers appointed by the then Sports Minister Vijay Goel. The list also includes the likes of Olympic-gold- medallist shooter Abhinav Bindra, double Olympic-medallist Sushil Kumar and former Commonwealth Games gold medallist Akhil Kumar among others.
पांच बार की विश्व चैम्पियन एम सी मैरीकाम ने बतौर नेशनल ऑब्जर्वर की अपनी इस पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. तत्कालीन खेलमंत्री विजय गोयल ने मार्च में 12 राष्ट्रीय पर्यवेक्षक नियुक्त किये थे जिनमें मैरीकाम एक थी . इस सूची में ओलंपिक स्वर्ण पदक विजेता निशानेबाज अभिनव बिंद्रा, दोहरे ओलंपिक पदक विजेता पहलवान सुशील, मुक्केबाज अखिल कुमार शामिल थे .

5. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved setting up of National Nutrition Mission (NNM) with a three year budget of Rs.9046.17 crore commencing from 2017-18.
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने 9046.17 करोड़ रूपये के तीन वर्ष के बजट के साथ 2017-18 से शुरू होने वाले राष्ट्रीय पोषण मिशन (एनएनएम) की स्थापना को अपनी मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है।
6. India has moved up one place to the 68th spot on the Global Entrepreneurship Index of 2018, which is topped by the US. India was at the 69th position last year. The list was prepared for 137 countries in the world.
भारत 2018 की ग्लोबल उद्यमिता सूचकांक पर एक स्थान ऊपर 68 वें स्थान पर पहुंच गया है, जबकि अमेरिका ने पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया है। भारत पिछले साल 69 वें स्थान पर था। यह सूची दुनिया के 137 देशों के लिए तैयार की गई थी।
7. Preet Didbal has been elected as the mayor of Yuba city in California, becoming the first Sikh woman to hold the position in the US. Dibal was appointed by the California city council and will be sworn in on December 5.
भारतीय मूल की प्रीत दीदबल अमेरिका की पहली सिख महिला मेयर चुनी गई हैं। उन्हें कैलिफोर्निया के युबा शहर का मेयर नियुक्त किया गया है। प्रीत 5 दिसंबर को मेयर पद की शपथ लेंगी।
